The TARDIS then

If I discovered I could teleport, I'd be getting all the region exclusives of Pokemon Go.

Just now, Scotty said:I still hoped that Tedd would have said something more personal to not make it sound like humans are jerks. Heck if anything it might have given Arthur a good enough reason to not fear magic being public as much, I can't even begin to understand what he's thinking right now.
I doubt Magic understands human morality. It's already been established it can't fully understand mortals. Tedd had to repeat everything they said in a way Magic could comprehend to get it to see their point.
Arthur though, yes, I'm also wondering how he'd react to all this. Maybe it comes later?

Woohoo! She did it!

Huh, that's new info, though I wonder what Rhoda thought of her male dates?

6 hours ago, ChronosCat said:This is not the delivery I was expecting. If the premise is that the Spellbooks represent Magic's natural way of communicating, Tedd should have been talking in a dry and overly wordy fashion. While this is in a bit more detail than what was said before, it seems to fit better with the "dramatic" nature of magic that Tedd just concluded she was wrong about.
Also, I wasn't going to cheer for any backgrounds in the main story until we left the dreamscape, but I can't resist. Yay for spider-web background in panel four!!! (And yay for starburst backgrounds in panels two and six too, I guess.)
Tedd established that the issue is not that Magic is dramatic, it just has trouble understanding subtlety. This is just Tedd casting subtlety aside.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!
All they had to do was ham it up!

Seer abilities lets him understand magic mechanics. Doesn't let him understand Magic.

Maggi Mee - Kari flavour. Love these instant noodles.

7 hours ago, Drasvin said:Also, plan CM was likely never intended to traumatize Ted (though Voltaire certainly considered that a bonus) The purpose of Plan CM was probably an attempt to discredit technology as a significant threat vector for Magic's reveal, which it did (or almost did, depending on what Tedd says in the next comic)
Since Scarf using a gun was the trigger for Pandora breaking Immortal law, I don't think that worked as intended.

...why are you all looking at me like that?
You won that one, good job.

3 hours ago, Scotty said:I still think talking about her life and experiences might be the way to go, enough of the little things that still made a difference might outweigh the "big things".
I gotta wonder what Voltaire actually wants here. Magic being public might allow Immortals more freedom in the guiding and empowering department with no threat of any system changes. But a severe change could allow him to seek out people who once had magic and make "promises" to help get it back if they do stuff for him. What would be more valuable to him?
I think he wants a severe change. Tedd wanted Magic to be public and Voltaire acted to traumatise him.
-
Just realised something. With how things are going, Tedd looks like she can convince Magic to go public.
I can't wait to see the look on Voltaire's face when he realises that not only did Plan CM failed, it probably backfired because Magic sincerely assured Tedd that Pandora will come back and they will still be family.
-
That doesn't look right. Is Uncanny Valley in effect here?
-
Magic doesn't have a flair for the dramatic!? It just assumed that's what people liked!?
And the issue this whole time is that the Seers weren't using terms Magic could comprehend?
This is why Magic needs a human perspective. It can't really get us otherwise.

1 minute ago, The Old Hack said:While entirely sensible and important for the environment, this is all too often only a bandage solution. As several recent movies have shown, idiots keep exhuming and unwrapping the skeletons in question.
You'd think they'd get the message when the tombs are protected by many curses and booby traps, but clearly human stupidity cannot be underestimated.

8 minutes ago, Tom Sewell said:I wonder if Pandora's final spell covered both sides of Earth...
Well, if the Immortals on both sides have different rules, then it's likely the Immortals on the other side don't send energy to force a reset for rule violations on this side.

You know, bringing up the Emissary made me wonder, is the Emissary himself a Seer?

Just now, WR...S said:New theory: Ashley and Tedd are actually the same person.
They appeared together when Ashley met Susan, Sarah and Tedd. Of course, magic could be involved.

That can't be true. Hanma resetted during the anime boom. No way the Shop-troll was her previous incarnation.
