Yes. Point is that even if he stopped looking after the diamond (which sometimes was hard to do), he definitely did before.

I don't think Ellen could care less if she, or Elliot, saw anything, Ellen has Elliot's memories and knows exactly what he looks like, Elliot also knows what Ellen looks like because his default female form is Ellen, but Elliot insists that "it's the principle of the matter". Ellen's probably got her back turned as well just out of respect for Elliot not wanting to feel awkward with her seeing him get dressed.

Talk to the shirt guys :P

  2. I imagine a god or no god, and each seems equally likely

I imagine 100 gods, and each seems equally likely

But each seems, alone, only 1/100th as likely as no god

I can imagine however many millions of gods I choose, and while it does not prove that there isn't one, it does mean arbitrarily choosing which one to believe in looks a bit silly.

She must feel really high up at that size, but stablished EGS canon (well, established via Q&A) is that Catalina is extra durable while shrunk, and would be fine if she were dropped

The force from gravity is proportional to your mass (size cubed), but air resistance is proportional to your surface area (size squared).  The bigger you are, the harder you fall.  In earth gravity the mammal safe size for falling is about that of a rabbit or house cat.  In fact, cats often survive falling from tower blocks and their survival rate actually seems to increase as the height goes above 7 stories.

A mouse, or someone the size of Catalina right now, would cheerfully walk away.  Douglas Adams has already established what happens to a whale.

Edit: in fact, she'd be fine if Rhoda went out in the parking lot and threw her as hard as possible vertically upwards. Rhoda has options for a new adrenaline sport if other job opportunities don't arise.

Ok, the energy is basically used in the creation of the simulated space, and nothing Sarah does in that space uses any other energy.

Not sure what to make of the last panel though, I don't get anything ominous about what Tedd said.

Really? "If someone happens to have their guard up ... [insert unknown]"

[The shock will cause burn out for at least 3 months]

[The spell will rebound and the energy of it will cause you to implode]

[They will be able to control you inside the spell until they decide to end it themselves]

The Moderator: Please, no politics in the regular threads. I reopened the political thread a little while ago if people desire to discuss matters.

If I should find myself with the sudden urge to make another political slay should it go in the slay thread or the politics thread?  Or should I stop while I'm ahead?

  6. If Sarah still needs to cast her spell after this, and can't, then she now has the one piece of information she needs that everyone else is missing.

She knows there is a steady stream of magic somewhere in moperville. All she has to do is wander around trying to cast spells until she finds it.

Course, with this dam analogy, what you need is to make it a proper dam. With holes for magic to run through back to ifs natural course to go out to sea with metaphorical turbines within that power up your generators with regular energy... Can you stick a turbine in a fundamental concept of reality?

Well, you could stick a person with a telekinesis spell in the magic dam, have them lift water, and have the water falling back down drive a traditional turbine.  It is _possible_. The next question is how many steps you can simplify or remove.
