14 hours ago, ijuin said:Yes. Pregnancies are almost never precisely nine months long--even discounting conditions that might specifically cause an early or late delivery, there is room for about a week's variation in both directions.

So we think Susan and Diane have different mothers but the same father. Susan was born 10 minutes after new years midnight and Diane was born 10 minutes before new year midnight.
Conclusion 1) If we subtract 9 months from that date we see that at least one of them is the result of an elaborate April Fools prank that went a bit far
Conclusion 2) Susan's dad has a thing for girls who keep track of "chronological trivia"
Conclusion 3) Dude's got stamina ...

I think going through everyone's avatars would add nicely to your collection.

I've had an image of those universes colliding in my head for a while I guess we can make it happen if we want to

Pandora is incredibly bored by how easily she predicts everything that happens. I think she often tries to guess things that are practically unknowable just out of desperation.

I'm not even from that continent!

It is implied earlier that "Plan CM" requires Elliot to be alive. I don't think he ever really wanted to kill Elliot specifically. This guy has a plan, and that plan involves Elliot, and I don't think his overall aim has changed, but he was trying to achieve something by killing Elliot and now he is trying to achieve it in some other way that also requires Elliot.
What that is, I have no idea, but I honestly don't think he's trying for wiggle room in this vow he's making.
He did call Elliot "the pawn of chaos" at one point though, so I bet it involves Pandora. Elliot, alive or dead, is not his objective. Elliot is a tool he is using.

I wonder if a "Vow" is an immortal rule we don't know about yet?

I can't work out how you can be able to do something WITH a panel, but not know how to cut it out? Gimp will do it for free. Photoshop will do it for the rich or piratical. Am I missing the real question here?

I think you are all wrong. He's a manipulative jerk. He wants Elliot to be trying to prove he's not a coward at a future event.

This immortal hangs around the griffins world. It's possible Tedd's dad has spent time there and is actually a sir!

2 hours ago, The Old Hack said:Damien was also narcissistic in the extreme and dumber than a sack of rocks. Even with what little I knew of him, I would consider him incapable of an acting job that would so convincingly portray a completely different person.
But being bad at acting was an act! He's actually really good at it, which is why you couldn't tell.

16 hours ago, Tom Sewell said:Further, it's stated in the recap beginning Painted Black that Damien has no apparent shapeshifting powers.
Well, yeah, I know WE knew. It's what the characters knew I was interested in!
17 hours ago, Scotty said:Besides Grace did tell the Main 8 about Nioi being Lord Tedd's servant, she likely told Hedge, Guineas and Vladia at least enough.
Oh, yeah, they'd have worked it out pretty quick, but all of that is later. Here and now no one present has ever heard mention of Nioi before.
17 hours ago, Scotty said:Also Damien isn't really a typical Seyunolu, can't even begin to speculate what the scientists had to do to get a being made with fire and I don't see how he'd be able to shapeshift into anything not fire related.
Well, no, but then neither is Elliot, who is currently a cat.
Let me put this another way. If I'd been there, I'd have been suspicious!
-
Yeah, but Hedge also knows that Grace isn't a fighter and that Damien is unstoppable. One of his viewpoints foundation stones has to break, it's just a question of which.
-
I know that we know better, because we have inside information, but here we are at the end of the Damien fight:
It occurs to me that we are in a room full of shape shifters and that Grace left with Damien and came back with Nioi. The most logical suspicion for nearly everyone present is that this girl they've never seen before who just showed up out of nowhere is actually Damien in another form.
It would be one hell of a personality shift, but I'd find it easier to swallow than the "just popping in from another universe" hypothesis at this point in the story.
-
I've thought about it, and I think I'm with Nanase on this one.
10,000 people in a town, and 10 vampires. 9 of them will not realise Diane is significant, or actively avoid her. The other 1 will actively seek her out.
She's in more danger than anyone else.
-
10 hours ago, Scotty said:Also the secret was apparently kept from Diane only.
Well, attempted, anyway. Diane has Susan level deduction skills and has probably figured it out already:
-
Maybe she just had enough of it with Raven's "Murder Shroud" ?
-
SOMEBODY is wrong.
I'm going to call it. Edward has been intentionally fed false information when doing his background checks, by or on behalf of Tedd's mom.
For extra credit I'm going to squint suspiciously at Mr "half immortals can't have children".

One rather simple thing Sarah can do, as a D rank talent with an S rank spell, is take huge bites out of the ambient magic buildup. It doesn't fix the problem, but it buys time.

10 hours ago, Wixelt said:This comic gives me food for thought in regards to time setting/the timeline. Initially it was that this couldn't possibly be set in 2013 (or 2002) anymore because this is October, and I thought Pokemon XY came out in November.
Ah, but that's only in this universe. In the EGS universe the pokemon fought in the american civil war.

I'm pretty sure Noah has "prehensile tendrils" coming out the back of his head and wears a long girls hair style to disguise them. He reminds me of the drummer boy from Ellen's other memories. He sought revenge against Damien for the death of his parents which makes me suspect they worked in the lab where Damien was created, and Damien was created in the image of a prophecy mostly believed by chimeras. I'm pretty confident he's the child of chimeras and that Damien missed him (a child left behind).
