I'm not sure that art accurately reflects Susan - after all, she has expressed some interest in watching.

Good point.  It does reflect her some what conflicted thoughts about female nudity however.

I think Panel 2 of this page reflects Susan's interest in watching more.

It's kinda funny really, we've had Susan have fantasy's of Elliot and Catalina doing things, due to Susan being attracted to Elliot and having wished she could be bi-curious with. But despite the fact that the Squirrel Prophet image is in Sarah's imagination and we know Sarah's libido would of course have her thinking of Elliot and Justin in sexy ways, I do wonder if Susan would also think of Justin that way considering she not only had a hope of a relationship with him before finding out he was gay, but then there was the "whoops" at Grace's birthday that ended up with them being closer as friends (though I also wonder if part of what made Susan kiss Justin was related to the aforementioned hope of a relationship being somewhat more subtle that Nanase's reasoning for going to the party), but after Elliot and Ashley got together Susan stated that Elliot was comparable to Justin, so it could be possible that if Susan has fantasized about Catalina and Elliot together, then maybe she's also fantasized about Justin and Elliot.

    Here is

If there was any question that this is a character that just looks like Susan, this should put it rest.  There is no way that the "real" Susan would have that look on her face after a magical effect like in panel 3.  I could, of course, be wrong, but the history of canon EGS suggests I'm not.

I can see Susan being contradicting if particularly annoyed by someone. But yeah the likelihood of her actually doing something like this outside of a game setting is probably unlikely, though she does have that watch that makes her shorter and more hippy. So I wouldn't completely rule anything out. Also something to note, Susan's considering going to Grace for "therapy", who knows what kind of stuff Grace might suggested Susan do for that.

True, but if it was applied to her 100% bigger size that would be even more pronounced than even Susan's 9 inch squash.

I think what the comic was trying to get across was that it wouldn't be possible to simply reduce Sarah's height from 6'8" to like 5'11" (9 inches) and then shrink because the shrink would just cancel the original growth and Sarah's proportions might become really skewed.

I asked Dan (on discord) if there'd be any difference and he said "Unless inspiration struck, it would all be proportional."

Well, Tedd didn't know that Susan was going to be there, and in fact thought she wasn't based on the pre-party events, so I don't think it was 100% for her but was for Ashley.  I'm surprised that she didn't include 'Sexy morphs' but not 100% surprised.  Tedd has grown a lot in the last few years (comic time, of course).

Tedd might have been hoping Susan would end up coming to the party, she did make sure to let Susan know the invitation was open to her after all, it's not all that surprising Tedd might have prepared on the chance that Susan would be there.

It might also be a noteworthy example of Tedd's character growth.  Compare her attitude in the relevant strip of this topic to his attitude a couple years ago (comic time).

Actually, it should be almost if not exactly 1 year comic time since Lunchtable Revelations. So Tedd's grown quite a bit in that time.

Original Diane vs current Diane is the most blatant example,

That's only because Diane suffered from lack of panel time to show more of her personality, up until End of an Era, we only saw a few snippets of her and even less of Lucy, so we didn't get a real look at their dynamic beyond "oh Diane said this homophobic thing to Justin, Lucy apparently doesn't like Rhoda, but Diane's very protective towards Rhoda."

The wand was made as safe as possible, but nothing can be completely safe. Therefore need for rules.

It's not that it wasn't safe, it's that Elliot appeared startled and annoyed by the sudden attempt to shrink her (and interrupting the conversation to), Elliot was letting it slide after Sarah apologized because that's how Elliot is, can't guarantee that everyone else at the party will react the same way though.

Making this a rule gives everyone an opportunity for a sort of revenge that's agreed upon by everyone so if someone were to do something like that again, the victim can return the favor and there'd be no hard feelings.

Besides Sarah's actions showed that it's still very possible to enchant someone against their wishes. I mean, yeah Elliot wanted to be shrunk, but the surprise attempt could have been done to someone else and the idea was for the target to be ready for it so yeah, this applies.

  6. Was discussing Voltaire's plan on Discord and got thinking about how Voltaire hoped "Plan A" would result in changing Immortal Law with Elliot's death.

I think a lot of us figured Tedd would wind up going "Lord Tedd" on everything and cause a system change or something, but then it hit me, Tedd wouldn't be the only one adversely affected by Elliot's death, Magus would have lost his only way out of limbo.

That pendant that Voltaire left likely wasn't just left to implicate Pandora's involvement to Adrian, but had Elliot died to the bulldog dragon, that pendant could have made Magus believe that Pandora killed Elliot out of spite for not making Edward kill Abraham, and Magus had vowed to end Pandora after she had her tantrum, and would have already convinced Sirleck to help him by the time the dragon attacked Elliot, so it'd seem likely that Magus would lose it and have Sirleck sent vampires after Adrian regardless of which plan was in play.

... although thinking about it, we BOTH are probably right. I mean she would feel both.

Yeah, Ashley's certainly going through the same "it's cool and fun, but also weird and scary" phase that Sarah went through, Ashley will get used to it and soon her and Sarah will be designing forms together. :D

    8 hours ago, hkmaly said:

That's so fantastic about accidents. Noone can call you weird if it was obviously accident ... unless you enjoyed it too obviously at least.

Ashley was worried about what others would think about her enjoying stuff like that too initially, until she found out the others have similar interests.

I think that Sarah would like to keep it secret so others wouldn't get bad idea and doesn't realize noone would be likely to care. In fact, I suspect that even when Elliot and Sarah were still dating Elliot would just accept the explanation that it was accident.

That's what I meant, Sarah'd be embarrassed and expect the worst if others found out, but she doesn't know that some already have and they haven't changed their opinions of Sarah. And yeah Elliot's the type that he'd accept that it was an accident easily.

    10 minutes ago, hkmaly said:

Anxious? I think that Ashley would like that.

She's been kinda flip flopping on how she feels about what she's experienced so far, and while she did fantasize about being shrunk out of her clothes, we've seen how there's definitely a difference between fantasy and actually experiencing it, plus she was worried that people would think she was weird for having those fantasies, though Grace has helped her with getting over that, I don't expect her to be instantly comfortable with accidental nudity in front of people though.

I'm not sure Elliott would really care about that.

I think at this point, probably not, but I imagine a lot of those incidences were while Sarah and Elliot were still dating, and Sarah might be worried people would get the wrong idea or something.

Though again, at this point, Sarah isn't aware that Nanase and Susan already knows, and I dunno if Nanase would ever tell Ellen (and if so, would Ellen tell Elliot?) but I honestly don't think Ellen would care aside from maybe cursing the fact that she missed it, and Justin likely wouldn't care either unless he gets wondering if any of them were guys at the time.

I dunno if Ashley would be anxious that this would be something to expect from spending time at Tedd's learning magic or relieved that everyone's gotten a "it just happens sometimes" attitude about that sort of thing now.

Based on the fact that Diane's about to spontaneously combust at the idea of Elliot's clothes suddenly reverting a leaving her naked might be an indicator of how she'd feel, though should could still just be focused on it happening to Elliot and could care less about it happening to other people.

Does her panic explain why the shrinking spell doesn't seem to be working?

Nope, either it's because in her panic, she forgot to think of what size to make Elliot, or it's something unrelated.

Maybe wand ran out of juice after 3 uses (but then ambient energy should have augmented it), or maybe the shrink spell of the wand isn't stackable with Elliot's transformation for some reason, like enchantments from different sources (TFG, Wand, self, etc) don't mix.

Maybe it's a new magic "not change" thing that Tedd didn't expect because previously, stuff like that had worked.

Of course Ashley has seen than form, which may or may not effect her thought processes about seeing it again.

It's not quite the same as the original Rose form, which Ashley might point out. Maybe Elliot did that on purpose as a conversation point for Ashley?

I amy be wrong, but I think this means we still have yet to see Justin, Ellen, and Ashley arguing with aspects, duplicates, or dopplegangers

    15 minutes ago, mlooney said:

That's true.  We've even seen Diane arguing with an mental image of her self.

I think that's what Dan was referring to when he said he could do a months worth of comics just reacting to Elliot's transformation, the commentary implies that Susan's reaction would have involved more visuals.

Pity we don't se Ashley. Who's more red, Ashley or Diane?

Probably next comic we'll see Ashley's reaction.

Grace will of course react completely different than everyone else, everyone's thinking about the attractiveness level of Elliot's form, Grace's thoughts will likely go elsewhere, and probably involve squeeeeing, especially if she sees the look on Tedd's face.

As predicted. I mean, the discussion for previous page was already rather pessimistic ... although the details were not predicted: neither Susan attacking in extremely ineffective way nor getting shrunk.

This is I guess still all cutscene stuff so it's possible that Susan will be able to do something once she regains control of herself, there is also:

On the other hand, this is EGS, so it's not likely Rhoda will get killed or ... ehm ... lose her virginity (with anyone else than Susan, at least). Probably captured and kidnapped? And maybe they will pee in that spring water, although note that the need of pure water was never specified so maybe he's not talking literally.

I could be wrong, but I'm expecting Rhoda to be the other hero companion that Susan teams up with so her dying here is unlikely, and while Rhoda has seemed timid so far here, if we take her recent developments in the main comic, it's possible she'll spring to action and hammer some fools shortly.
