    This could be interesting, who do we know about? Nanase, possibly her mom, Edward, probably Tedd, if sheer power is the marker for royalty, Grace for sure, Rhoda?

    And why do the other members of the conspiracy think Mist's plan is a bad idea? Are we about to see wacky hijinks? Wacky hijinks would be fun.

    Can't find the comic that made me think so, but I've long been under the impression that some other immortal (Pandora?) "murdered" them, hence their poor recovery.

    Yes, even though the so-called secrets boiled down to "this is how the Soviets do it, too." I figured that once the Iron Curtain came down and Soviet Army surplus hit the open market, that it would be OK to talk about it, but nobody ever told me it was alright now.

    And where is that universes version of Elliot? Say what you like about either, they both provide Tedd with positive role models. Though I can't find the relevant strip, I recall Tedd speculating about whether the presence of Elliot was the difference between him and Lord Tedd. 

    Elliot is the glue that holds this world together, isn't he? Without him, Susan would probably be the bitter man-hating straw feminist she was at the beginning of the strip, Jason would be isolated, the North and South Moperville High groups would likely be unknown to each other, the Magus storyline would be impossible, and on and on.

    Not bad for a lazy introvert.

    Ed had to be desperate at that point. And he lucked out--Elliot  took Tedd under his wing.
