I wonder why Kevin has issues with people burning out. Call me suspicious, I'm thinking this is somehow all about him.

Probably Arthur saw a few trainee agents try a little too hard and decided to include an anti-burnout lecture in Kevin's "programming."

  2. When I wrote that uber-magical  Tedd seemed to burn out very quickly compared to the theoretically less powerful Nanase (and, I should have added, Elliot) I hadn't considered that the magical martial artists were used to pushing themselves to their magical and physical limits regularly during their training at Greg's dojo, while Tedd has never done either, until perhaps, this last strip.

I seem to recall from the whales encounter that using the gauntlet’s overcharge mode is straining, especially if done for too long. Tedd had used that mode to be able to see the whales, which Tedd just now had surmised to be living on just one of many layers of their reality. Might Tedd have just now been attempting a similar experiment and overstrained themself?

I like this idea, but it seems awfully quick, Nanase, fought with everything she had, including the Guardian Spell for much longer than the few minutes Tedd was at it before she burned out. Must have been some Big Juju magic Tedd was using.

It is not good that Tedd is taking Kevin's criticism to heart.

It may be hopeful thinking on my part, but I think Tedd is considering arguments to the contrary

I'm hoping Kevin has sparked an idea in Tedd,

Is this to make us think this team is incompetent, then they suddenly become become overwhelming when they face the opposition?

Do we know yet if these guys are good, bad, justified or other?

Been listening to a podcast about the American Revolution lately. It's quite good. I believe the revolutionaries of 1776 to have been justified, are these guys? I don't know, but they seem to be aiming less for equality than a takeover, Is Liam abetting them because he be believes that he and his kind will be better off?

I expect Lavender to play a big role in the resolution of this arc. She will at some point be the voice of reason.

Probably, just as I'm fairly sure all the stuff with Lavender and projections was to let us know that Tedd can see through them. Wacky hijinks for sure, anyway.

These guys probably aren't as inept as they seem, but their ignorance of this side of the world has already caused problems. Ignorance is not the same as stupidity, but the results can but just as hilarious.

Ever since Pandora revealed that Tedd was a Wand Maker, Tedd has suspected that all the tech stuff has just been window dressing on wands.

But if a magic lacking human coppied the tech, then it is comprehendable tech, & some of Tedd's ambitions may still be achievable.

IIRC, the TF gun tech was given to Tedd by Will and Gill. Tedd's (not insignificant) contribution was a user interface that made it simple to create brand new forms. The computer program to to do that wouldn't be magic.

There's always that guy in the party, isn't there? Fit's his character's demographic, I suppose.

But not his character, I think. This is George, he has reasons for whatever he does. Probably a more subtle plan than just wanting to destroy something he does not (yet) understand.
