Obviously Elliot has a new spell by the way the page shows his spellbook and the link posted in the comment suggests that it should be a non-girly spell. Part of me however thinks that it could be a red herring, and while he does get a new spell based on his accepting that the girly spells he has are cool, cute and sexy, I wouldn't be surprised of the new spell upgrades the cat form into a catgirl form. Elliot probably couldn't care less at this point though. :D

That's one thing I've never understood.  How do you get non-girly spells by making girly spells a part of who you are?

Is anyone else concerned that the title of the book is now "A Perfectly Normal Book"?

It could be that it's just the way the title has always been, and this is like the "Totally Human" t-shirt gag....but what if it means that the spell book is no longer a spell book, and Elliot is now stuck with only his current spells?

I want to think that Elliot's spellbook was always titled "A Perfectly Normal Book" and the final panel means Elliot got something new.

  3. I sympathize as well.  I felt something similar last week.

I was blindsided by a change at work that left me feeling particularly powerless (I am vulnerable to feeling this way anyway).  I had a simmering emotional meltdown going that lasted all weekend but recovered during this week.  I'm back to normal now.   (normal as I get anyway...)

We should at least take solace in the fact that Grace is just role playing a character that wants to solve all of the world's (or at least the state of Nevada's) problems in a non-violent way, and who may suffer from Stockholm Syndrome due to brain damage after getting shot in the head. ;)

Grace herself is merely being gamerrific.  This isn't the first, last or worst example of how playing a game's quirks and limits for advantage produces bizarre character behavior.

Dan's stated before that the seduction skill seems to work out of context with and regardless of the actual situation.

Of course it's just matter of time. On the other hand, the sun will only last about 5 billion years ...

The voice says "your boy" because Sirleck didn't bothered to explain that it's not his idea but Magus.

BTW, do you also have the feeling that the information might actually be outdated? I mean, they certainly didn't watched Elliot all the time when there were guiding Andrea, but now Andrea is going home, so ...

If this is the Colonel starting Operation CM, it's perfect information to give Sirleck.

It is possible that Elliot is only "Magus' boy" and Sirleck has no designs on him.  This did not occur to me.  I was too uncomfortable to be able to think past Sirleck possessing Elliot.

I wondered why Sirleck would spend 6-7 months possessing a host he really doesn't like land would like to be rid of?  Surely he could have money laundered and a better host found by now.  Taking Elliot seemed a good reason.

No, I very much doubt Sirleck wants to possess Elliot's body. Vampires are afraid of immortals and Helena and Demetrius would definitely be able to notice Sirleck possessing Elliot. Magus probably intends to create a new body for himself by making Elliot touch the Dewitchery Diamond after Ellen's zapped him into Elliot's body/mind and Sirleck intends to use Magus's new body as a host.

Except the phone voice specifically says the Immortals (plural) aren't watching "your boy" 24-7 anymore.

Why possess magus when Magus would be in his debt?  Sure it's a backup plan, but why *not* possess Elliot?  Win-win.

    Everyone except Nanase and Sarah.

So Sirleck is still in the story.  This is going to be...

Ya know, I think I'd rather see virtual Grace tipping lizards than this guy.

Nanase at least, though she's hot to trot for Elliot's feminized version (Ellen).  One wonders she thinks of baseball looking at Cheerleadra...

Sarah would have probably done the horizontal mambo with Elliot.  Might still have after their breakup, up until she met Sam. Elliot was just moving too slow.

The thought of Sirleck possessing Elliot really does creep me out.  Perhaps because I strongly connect with Elliot.
