I meant in bottles/cans/bags in boxes. Getting liqueur by the drink is a change in the law that happened in my adult life time. -

Two good things to come out of the 2016 election, at least in Oklahoma: That simple possession, of any drug, not just marijuana, but any thing on the controlled substance act, is now a misdemeanor, not a felony, with no state prison time attached. Beer and Wine over 2.6% ABW can be sold in places other than liqueur stores. -
It's been a while for me to go to a bar. I forgot the which was which, a "snakebite" or a "black velvet" and ordered a snakebite. I fixed it with the 2nd one. A snakebite is a lager/cider mix and black velvet is a cider/stout mix, in case any one isn't up on cider/beer mixed drinks.

Seems to have worked.

Well, yeah, that's a given s/contains/is mainly/ Which Tulsa is not. All of which reminds me, I need to do an Adobe Update, which I will do as I'm leaving the house for several hours.

We get worse some times. During the winter 50-60 degree swings happen when a front rolls in.
-
We are predicted to have a 30 degree swing in temperature Saturday. My cup of joy overflows.

I seriously want to use the "Mary Sue Litmus Test" in writing the example NPC in "Edge of Imperial Space." Not to avoid it, but to make a Mary Sue.
-
Well, there is your problem. That insures that you will get some nasty tannin in the tea.
-
Rhoda and Grace meet quite often as mutual tutors. That was, granted, last semester, but I suspect they haven't changed teacher yet.

Lapsang souchong smells more smokey than it tastes, but it does have a nice smokey after tone. As to tea being bitter, you are steeping it too long. 3 minutes max, I don't care what the box says. Also there is a reason why "classic" UK and Irish tea has a bit of milk in it. I normally put about 2 tea spoons of sugar in hot tea and about 3 table spoons of milk/cream in it. You might try that, but if you aren't a tea drinker, I will not hold it against you. Much.

Thank you Mr O. Hack. Panel 3 would make the "dwell in the shirt" option much easier, of course, that goes with out saying.
-
It was. Three things you don't normally think of when "smokey" is used in the context of food, all nicely working together. Good thing is I still have enough of all of the above to do it again. I think I'm going to name this my "not BBQ, but close" meal
-
They already did the quad mount thing for a paint ball AA gun, and of course they mad the gattling paintball gun, so it would not take much to make that.
-
Smoked Gouda cheese, smoked salami with smoked tea to go with I think I will have BBQ tomorrow...

Mounted on a stretch M113A3 the space that normally would hold 14+ grunts was mainly used for ammo. Granted that still only gave it about 90 seconds of full power. Normal firing rate was bursts of 100-200 rounds per gun mount. So around 120 plus or minus shoots. Which is about right for a SPAAG.

People talk about "more dakka". I think, back in my Army days, I saw a serious proposal that would have been "that's enough dakka". Quad mount Vulcan self propelled anti air craft guns. At that time, the Army had single mount Vulcans, which could chunk out 3,000 rounds a minute. A quad system would chunk out 12,000 RPM. That 200 rounds of 20 mm high explosive rounds a freaking second. They build one, but it lost out to the Sergeant York system, which ended up being, well, bad. Bad enough that we didn't take it into service, and this was during the height of the Reagan era defense expansion.

Just for the record, I with draw all my comment about the reliability of Grace remembering her dreams correctly. I also suspect that all the main 8 and possibly every one that Grace recalls being marked in her dreams will be tested. Other than the main 8 I suspect it might be covertly, but that might be difficult do the the fact the magic detector wand makes a noise.

Been there, done that. Back before I was on disability I rode an electric bike to work. Roughly 14 mile each way. In the winter that was my normal state after about 4 mile or so. I've also had the problem with out riding the bike. Adderall often causes that.

Tulsa/Jone Airport as of 2:13 am CST 46° Fair feels like 46° H - L 45° UV Index 0 of 10 Until Tuesday it's heater on weather. On Tuesday, it's going to be switch back and forth. I miss the "auto" setting at the old house. However the HVAC is dead there I understand, so it's a wash. With the my current drug load I've got about a 3 degree "comfort zone". Or to be more accurate a 3 degree "don't sweat, don't feel like I'm freezing zone".

Really less than happy right now. Going to bed. I expect to be extremely unhappy in the morning. This is weird. I'm nominally a Republican and a lower case l libertarian. And I'm unhappy about the Republican candidate winning the election. The fact that the GOP seems to be also holding on to both houses of congress isn't helping. I generally want split government, prevents some of the more off the wall things from being passed into law. Bleh. -
Above an beyond political issues I have a skinny white boy butt. All the chairs I have in the apartment are hard wood chairs, which means I need a pillow for my sensitive, tender butt. For the last 5 or so years I've been using a "Comfy Pillow" of TV ad fame. They aren't all that great, but they sort work. The damn thing just ruptured, oozing some sort of goo1 all over my computer chair and the floor under my desk, and of course over my butt. The goo doesn't seem be water soluble, and required a crap ton of scrubbing to get off. Scrubbing a body part you can't see is, I just found out, not a trivial task. 1Not that kind of goo. At least I don't think so. Hasn't made any noises yet or slithered away.
