Ah, yeah, that's the sort of thing that probably should be cc'd to everyone in the building. Possibly with a more strongly worded, but private, note to the specific people creating the problem.

The property agent told me that she was going to deliver a printed copy of the town's complaint directly to them, and have speaks about the number of people allowed by the lease.  As of this morning. the car and most of the trash is still there.

Was the letter addressed specifically to you demanding that you clean up "your" trash, or was it relatively generic, or addressed to the culprits with a copy to you so you know it's happening?

It was a fairly generic letter.  The actual from the city letter just had the address and was sent to the agents, who then forwarded it to "us" via email.   I'm not worried about it, and like I said, this might result in the other people leaving, which would be a real win all around.

  3. I just got an email from my land lord, about a dead car and trash piled up around the house, aimed at the other side of the building as it happens.  I've spoken with every one in question and even the inspector for the city knows it's not my side of the building and not my stuff.  Plus the inspector told me that it's the landlords problem in the final end.   With any luck at all the fact that 3 people are living there when there should only be 1 will result in them moving out.  A man can dream.

Did you have any other symptoms when your headache was happening (or now, for that matter)?

Just my nose being slightly stuffy, then a blood clot when I blew my nose.  And now that I am not thinking "Migraine" I feel that there is pressure in my right sinus and the head ache isn't quite where a migraine should be, at least on me.

Just so long as you don't end up being transported in the ambulance, after sneezing yourself into epistaxis or something.  Any more problems after that clot?

Most communities these days have some sort of transport for seniors and the disabled to get rides.  Could you get yourself signed up for that?

No problems, other than pain post clot.  As to transport, there is a point to point bus system here, but it needs at least 3 days notice, minimum.   If I do decided I need to go to the clinic, I've got that covered, in that taxi rides are flat rate in town.

I hope you will use our wiki as platform for that. BTW did you lost the full resolution version?

Also, isn't it outdated a little?

I plan on doing it both on the wiki and here.

I didn't create that version, so, yeah, I've "lost" the full version.  As to out dated, I'm no sure what would need to be added to bring it up to "current".

What about the backgammon and Yahtzee  tradition of shaking the dice in a cup before throwing?
Does that sufficiently randomize the roll?

Depends on who you ask.  The lady I spoke with on the subject thought that any thing less than the full across the table/pit toss that you do in a casino craps games was "suspect at best".  She also was a bit weirded out by the non 6 sided dice that were in use in table top RPG.  Any thing that wasn't a fairly new casino d6 was suspect.

How about, Tedd is with his friends and is triumphant, happy, proud....Dad sees his grin....then Tedd sees his dad and his face falls and he gets all closed up and wary.  And Edward sees the change in his son, and realizes how bad their relationship has gotten.

Bonus points if Tedd is in girl form, and Edward manages to show her unconditional love and approval.

Extra-bonus points if he wraps her in a big hug and outright tells her he's proud of her.

Yo!  "The Dan"  Make This Happen.

Do you currently have health insurance?  If so, now would be a good time to call up your doc and ask them if it's something you need to go in for.  You're the one species on the planet I'm not allowed to diagnose or treat.

I have health insurance.  What I don't currently have is a non shrink doctor.  I know, in theory, which clinic I will use, however I'm not a patient there yet.  Plus there is the lack of transportation.   If this doesn't get any better by morning I'm going to re-evaluate my options.

That would certainly mean center-of-mass of the dice would exert its maximum effect on the roll.

I've seen people rattle the dice around in their hands and flop them on a game table with little or no rolling around, too.  I never said anything but that always bothered me a little

As long as they aren't carefully putting them a set way (i.e. high side up or what ever) before they do that stunt it doesn't bother me.

Of course I'm a DM most of the time.  I fudge rolls all the time to make for a better story or gaming session.  I've never fudged to make it worse for players, let me be clear, I have enough way to do that with out needing to do that, but I will fudge encounters rolls or even attack rolls if the party is in over their heads and it's not their fault.

And that would be when Tedd finds out Nanase doesn't know where Ellen is and that he can't reach Elliot.

Oh, yeah, forgot about that.   Acting as the cavalry or cavalry support ala "Painted black" might be higher on her list.  Or she might be telling the mages how to cast spells as they ride to the rescue.

I'd like to see a Father-child moment where Ed Verres gets a chance to give Tedd a rare moment of praise and appreciation.

That would be good as well, but I that would need to be done by Ed to have much meaning.  I'm not seeing Tedd, in his current mode of operation, going to his father for approval as a primary action.

My family likes boardgames and some of them use dice as well.  We've been using the game box lid and a thickness of 2 or 3 paper towels.  But I also work for a tech company that sells mobile devices and started noticing the foam on the box lid insides.  I'm starting to build up a collection...

One thing I found out many years ago, at a GAMA convention in Las Vegas is that people that are serious about dice being random (i.e. Crap tables in Vegas) get all sorts of weird about both dice towers and smaller dice boxes.  They think the dice have to bounce off the felt a couple of times and ideally off the back wall of the Crap's pit to be "really a good throw".   Having Vegas style gaming people look at table top gaming stuff is weird.

If magic items remain a part of Magic's new ruleset, Tedd would be the person to know how they work or figure it out, both because he's consulting on the change and because he's a Seer and this is his home territory.

Oh, yeah, no question there.  Actually I want to change my bet on Tedd's first action to "among his first actions will be telling his friends how to do magic and making sure he can still make watches/wands."  The order of those two is too close to call,l at least to me.
