    Well, in Oklahoma, where the National Weather service lives, that is the case, or at least was.   I'm not to happy about the local weather people now that I've move to a small town with a weird selection of "local" stations.

About an hour ago he became aware of CCP's 20th anniversary promotion where if you buy tickets to both Fanfest 2017 and EVE Vegas 2017, you would get a free Marshal Concord Battleship. Not wanting to buy tickets, he checked to see if anyone was selling theirs.

    He dropped 35 billion ISK on one that was on contract in Jita. It costs 300 million to fully insure with a 1 billion return.

    He said he'll only unpackage it to sit and spin if he feels like it. :D

    Someone has unpacked one and took it out for a spin.

    It didn't go well.

    Problem with this is that the time to pop all the corn is slightly longer than the time it takes to caramelize the sugar.  Which means burnt sugar or about 5% unpopped corn,   Working on the timing.

    A slight reduction in the amount of sugar and slightly more aggressive pot shaking seems to have fixed the issue.  I've had 2 batches now that have acceptable levels of unpopped corn (i.e. under 1%) with no burnt sugar.   Calling that a win.

    Trust me when I say that informal conversational style of explaining things is a bad thing when you are explaining rules.  Great for fluff, not so great for the real rules.

    Don't get me started on May/Should/Must being interchanged.

    Saying something is weird in the description is weird, just off the top of my head.  The text with the comic should go in designer notes, not in the rules. Explaining about better game play is fluff, not crunch and should not be in the crunch. Try to avoid explaining why a rule is in the rules, if you have to explain why a rule exists, that is what notes are for.

    Or maybe he keeps them alive.  His last long term host was an old man when he died.

    While I don't do board game design, the reverse direction explanation is a bit weird.  I like the concept but the expression of the mechanic is a bit strange.

    Then this one is a very bad headache.   Well, not very bad, but damn if it's not responding to my drugs.  The lack of any thing for the sinus part I'm sure has to do with that.
