Buying a vowel. OK, fine. A is 10 and E is 14, we know that, but depending on if you are using iHex1 or base 36 I either has no value (iHex) or is 18, while O is either no value (iHex) or 24 (Base 36)
1The Traveller system, where eye (i) and oh (o) are not used to not confuse with one (1) and zero (0).

If you can roll a vowel on 2d6 you are using weird dice.
Just saying.

Unsalted butter on unsalted popcorn isn't quite what I had in mind for today's snack. Looking into salt and/or sugar options for the 2nd bowl.

Real world d100 (one die, not a pair of d10) have that problem. Enough so that most people don't use them, assuming they even know they exists.

Warm buttered rice, with a little sugar.
And it made me sweat. Eating makes me sweat. When did that start to be a thing?

1:36 chance. Not that big of a coincidence.

Traps and Talking cats? OK then.

Have any of you ever had a system that has problems restarting? My laptop, without fail, will present me with a dark screen on a restart from an active session. However, if I give it enough time to get set up and then just touch the power button (don't hold it for 5 seconds), it will restart normally. WTF would cause this? I have the latest drivers for everything.
Sounds like it's trying to clean up the scratch file while it's creating a scratch file. I could be wrong however. It's also possible that it's running chkdsk or system version of same.
If it's windows, try setting up you own virtual memory files, instead of letting Windows deal with it.

It's 53 degrees. I walked 3 blocks and back to drop off a library book. I returned, ate a bowl of peas and am now sweating like a sweating thing. Inside thermostat says it's 70 degrees plus or minus 2. Not spicy peas either, just steamed frozen peas.
Bleh.

This story line just turned darker than I was expecting and not the way I was expecting it to turn.

Frozen sliced carrots are almost as mushy as canned carrots. Will not buy again.

Sansha's Minions vs Hobgoblin II drones. A 2x2 fight isn't really fair.
I don't even bother to stop mining, just let the drones deal with the gnats.

Yesterday I may have had the platonic ideal of sweet milky tea. Trying to recreate that mix of tea strength, sugar and milk now.
The sad part about this is I was not paying attention to how much sugar or milk I added, or how long it steeped. This makes recreating trickier than it should be.

There were plenty if you took a second year of chemistry in high school. We were surrounded by the things. I had hands-on experience as a lab assistant.
My school had liter jars and kilogram weights, plus meter sticks etc.

Well, I'm not PvP ready in Eve. Lost two destroyers today. Buying a cruiser when I get back in. My little mining corp is at war now. Bleh.

And the fact that the other house didn't pass it and the Governor would not sign. Takes 2 houses and a governor/president to get a law passed.

Any takers on a the bet that it was NOT Susan that said her piece was too cheery?
No? That's what I thought....

Just for what it's worth I have had Dilaudid for migraines, so I don't think headache is a normal side effect for it.
And yes, you will be loopier than a loopy thing on it.

There are two ranks called "colonel" in the US Army, Air Force and USMC. Lieutenant Colonel (Grade O-5) and Colonel (grade O-6). When some one wants to make sure that you know they mean an O-6 type colonel the phrase "full colonel" is used.
