    The smoke detector in my bathroom is beeping due to low battery.  I suspect I don't have the right kind plus getting to it is a real pain.  I tried but every time I looked up I started to have a down rush.  This is sub optimal.

    After about 4 hours it stopped. So I don't have a fire alarm now I suspect. That is actually good as stir fry tends to set them off, as does stove top grilling. As to safety mankind went thousands of years with out them. Granted there were a lot of people that died in their sleep from fires...

    I still say that Greg is awaked, he has 2 to 5 spells.

    And I should have use Susan's growth spurt instead of Nanase's boobs as an example of magical growth with reference to Greg's bodybuilding style body.  We know at least 2 male magic users, who are awaken have better abs than what we have seen of their lifestyle would indicate.  Justin even said something about that.

    Bed before this was an air bed.  One before that had the issues you have, more or less when I started sleeping on it

    Opps Wrong group.

    Having a "normal" both side of the head headache at night, and waking up to a migraine (one side of the head, right in my case) headache is not a good thing.  My first dose of drugs for the migraine has knocked it down to just irritating, but still there, which, if it follow my normal pattern, is going to come back in full force in about 3 hours.  I'm tempted to take my stronger meds now, but I'm expecting a delivery today and I'd sort of like to be awake and functional when they get here.

    Of course the delivery is for late afternoon, which may or may not be after my zone out is over.  This really sucks.

    I thinks it's rather obvious that Greg is at least dreaming, if not full on awakened. He has at  least two spells.    That "channel my energy into a force field" thing, plus is ranged magic detection, with power levels, against some thing he can't see.  The ability to teach people powers, even if they are "just" illusions might be a 3rd.  His strength and muscle mass also points to magic (see Nanase's magic boobs and her hair for example of body growth due to magic.)
