    That was the theory.  

    In reality, privateers could occur today, as the United States Constitution permits Congress to issue letters of marque, and this provision has never been repealed.  There was talk of doing that during the height of the Somalia pirate era.

    Antihistamines, in general, regardless of dosage level, are really iffy for cats. Not so much with dogs, but if a cat has allergies, the cheap treatments don't work.

    Just for the record, “Contessa” is a rank. Wife of a count, or, in some rare cases, in her own right.  Goes before Angelina.

    Contessa

    She, in normal circumstances, would never go by "Contessa Angelina", unless she was deliberately not acting as a Princess.  Her “normal” name would be “Princess Angelina”.

    Of course, Zeus was upset that Jerry that passed on the fact that elves weren't sterile.  I suspect that slowed his party plans down just a bit.  On the other hand, can Immortals control whether they are sterile or not at any given time.  Given that PCR could be a cloud of chaos, making a form that didn't have working bits might not be that hard.

    The front seems to have passed.  None showing on radar to the west; however, there is a big honking one to the south (currently south of Tulsa even) that might move up.  Normally, they come from the west, but sporadically, we get them from the south.  At any rate, my knees aren't moaning anymore, so there is that.

    While the only “job” we know of for immortals is treasure finder, being a coach of some sorts, being a sports coach or even a life coach would be a good job for a pre change in laws immortal.  Even an acting or voice coach would be good.  Teaching positions in general would also be good fits.

    After the change?  I got to think about that.

    And, yes, I know that comments are only semi canon at best, and it's only canon if it's in a comic.
