Yeah, but the House of Dunkel keeps having magical members. Granted, they tend to be clones, which doesn't help the inbreeding factor, but it does keep the line alive.

Cheetahs are also the most endangered of all the big cats, due, in part to their relative fragility.

As I understand it, one of his names in Arthur. <google> Yeah, his full name is “Charles Philip Arthur George” He could have been King Arthur. Would he have taken the II or not?

They can be of great help. At least that is what Explorer keeps telling me. She turns off the screen saver by batting at the mouse some mornings.

Given the history of English kings' named “Charles” I'm surprised he took that name. Maybe he thought, “3rd time's a charm”.

About 50%, and rising, American don't trust the US government right now either.

Oh, yeah, most of my meds have a side effect of being blood thinners. The proximal cause was walking into the metal frame of my bed, that cut my shin. It's been a few days and it is only now starting to scab over.

If fired in at an angle, it may follow a ballistic arc and maintain a significant fraction of muzzle velocity,
The MythBusters proved that guns fired straight up aren't fatal, will not even break skin. They even published and got peer review for that study. One of their few where it was “proved” by modern scientific standards. Adam, on his podcast, was quite proud of that.

He comes from the House of Dunkel, not the House of Habsburg.

Yeah, those are how DS draws closed eyes.

I've seen $350 mortar packages. Granted, that is more than one shot.

God-damn it to hell. I bumped my leg, and it's fucking bleeding again. Fuck. And I, like a moron, didn't order any bandages yesterday after that bleeding episode. Ordered 100, should get here at 1ish tomorrow.

It's not its real name, just for the record.

No, but I'll bet she was thinking it quite loudly.
What? Am I the only one that has volumes on thoughts?

Panel 2: apparently eyes are capable of transforming in this universe. Adrian's have shrunk to pupil size, and Elliot's have become horizontal lines.
Definitely fantasy. A royal worried about being out of touch? Would never happen.
That being said, we are talking about Elliot here, even if it's an AU version of him.

5 hours ago, Darth Fluffy said:Still, I think they got the state question wrong. Nor should it be, "Would you like chili with that?" What they really want to ask is, "What would you like with your chili?" (Although, like my first bowl of chili in NM, you can get your chili straight, without other additives.)
I miss the mom-and-pop restaurant on the highway that ran through McGregor range. Never did find out why they were allowed to be there, but they served damn good food.

Danes are fireworks mad. I have seen people spend $25 or more on a single rocket. There is a reason I take cover every New Year's Eve, which is when every Dane goes mad with firing shit into the sky.
There is a 24 - hour 365 days a year firework store in Small City, Kansas. We get fireworks for most federal holidays, as well as when the high school football team scores a touch-down, never mind winning a game.
And, yeah some of the bigger rockets or mortar shells are expensive.

20 hours ago, Darth Fluffy said:If you are going to add chilis to something, other than as powder, pretty much always green.
That is my answer as well. However, as just “red or green” it's the NM state question:
QuoteIn 1996 the New Mexico State Legislature passed a House Joint Memorial declaring “Red or Green?” as the official state question. This refers to the question always asked whether one prefers red or green chile when ordering New Mexican cuisine. This measure was passed to signify the importance that the chile industry has on the economy of the state. New Mexico produced 99,000 tons of chile in 2000, valued at nearly 49 million dollars, the number one cash crop in terms of sales in the state. With the adoption of this state question, New Mexico is acknowledging the financial gain and national recognition that chile generates for the state.

When I lived in El Paso, I technically worked in NM. Important question. Red or Green?

Well, yeah, if you want to get technical about it.

Pure bullshit can also be sold, at a high price I might add, but I'm not seeing the general public buying what they are selling. And as the muskrat continues, it's only going to get worse.
