There is a limit to the variety of interjections used by Moperville residents. Did that episode of Schoolhouse Rock fail to air on the local affilliate? Please tell me they can sing the Preamble and the three times table.

Before they let Tedd move into the University Lab, there will be an encyclopedia's worth of documents to sign. These will include most, if not all, of the terms that had previously bound Edward but will now hit Tedd personally. If Tedd reads the fine print, many of Edward's secrets will be laid bare.
Edward now has clearance to share at least some of these secrets. Discussing them with Tedd may be awkward, embarrassing, or even painful. And they don't all need to come out at dinner tonight in the comic. But between now and when Tedd officially moves across town, Edward has a lot to tell Tedd. It will almost certainly be better if Tedd hears them from Edward personally.

Edward persuaded the bosses, but we do not get details. This means that any thing that comes up in the comic regarding Tedd & the government ( before Tedd met Arthur ) can be explained with "it's part of The Deal" with no other details needed.
. . . .
If a Uryuom projection hides a body part, that part becomes intangible. Unless someone sees through the projection. Then that part can be touched by the person or thing that sees the true form.
This may be the most insane application of the Quantum Observer Effect I have ever heard. Sigh. ( Just repeat to yourself, it's just a show, you really should relax. )

Just like the handwriting on the wall in Daniel, the ink of Canterbury can change when no one is looking.

Best advice I ever heard for unwanted squirrels was to leave a radio set to an all talk station on in their vicinity.
You'll get rid of the squirrels or annoy the neighbors.

It needs to be there for the Python sketch.

George's head would explode if Elliot walked in the store right now.
"Ellen, are you bringing Nanase over for dinner? Dad asked me to pick up a bucket of chicken."

She needs to have her Diocese tatooed on the back of her neck.

1st, Bishop's shadowy appearance in the previous comic was compleetly successful in fooling me.
2nd, I hope this flash back story does not take too long since we already know the result.
I see 3 possibilities.
A-Edward persuades his bosses.
B-Edward lies to his bosses.
C-The bosses knew what Ed was doing, but could not officially acknowledge or approve it. So Ed makes a show of bringing in a big pile of Tedd's work and is quietly cautioned to not discuss Tedd at the office.
Also, Bishop's sneaky tattle tale attitude can be an advantage in her line of work. It just needs to be properly directed. That is, away from Edward.

This new character in flashback seems older than Bishop or Cranium in the present.

Rich does not need a full redemption ark.
Just enough character growth that he does not fall too far behind Larry.

No wi-fi?
Is this a Papal Conclave where the only communication is by smoke signal?

My limited experience with SCA suggests that not only a tolerance for, but an appreciation of, the art of the pun is essential.

Darnitol.
New character cliff hangers are so frustrating. She could be almost anything. So with no evidence, I am betting she is a character we have seen before without realizing her significance.

More than most, Tedd seems to understand & appreciate the spooky side of government work.

Happy Tedd is one of the saddest things we have seen in this comic.
If Tedd said "What you did hurt me. I know you regret it. I know you are taking steps to keep that from happening again. I forgive you." Edward could have acknowledged his wrong and they could have begun healing.
But Tedd treated this as entirely good news. Not admitting to the pain. Tedd may remind Edward of a mistreated puppy who, despite the pain, showers it's human with love & affection at the slightest attention.
Edward knows he hurt Tedd. If Tedd won't admit to the pain, Edward can not apologize, ask Tedd's forgiveness, or forgive himself.

I am of the opinion that these are cosmetic transformation and do not reflect any realistic animal or human physiological trait.
Or to put it more plainly, these transformations are the result of someone's ( Ashley,Tedd, Kevin or Dan ) imagination running wild.

29 minutes ago, Darth Fluffy said:'Clone form' says she looks like someone. That could get messy. Do they have permission to use the resemblance to someone else's image? I could see this getting out of hand; identity difficult to verify.
Let me quote Dan from the June 28, 2023 comic commentary
Quote"Clone," but not necessarily a copy
To clarify, "clone forms" in this context refer to forms that always wind up identical regardless of who's transformed. They CAN be identical to actual people, but they don't have to be copies of anyone.
And really, if "Clone" forms could really only copy specific people, every Uryuom using Tedd's tech would look like Grace.
Forgot to add . . .
I suspect that the Clone form Lavender is using was customized just for her based on her default and projection preferences. However, if another Uryuom was to access Lavender's clone form, that Uryuom would also end up looking like Lavender.
This has terrifying implications for Identity Theft. Controlling Clone Form data might be the highest personal security responsibility for Uryuoms using them.

Ever since Pandora revealed that Tedd was a Wand Maker, Tedd has suspected that all the tech stuff has just been window dressing on wands.
But if a magic lacking human coppied the tech, then it is comprehendable tech, & some of Tedd's ambitions may still be achievable.

Just be glad you're not a platypus.
Not that there is anything wrong with being a semi-aquatic egg laying mammal of action. Except for the sweating milk thing . . .

Larry, no matter how many steps you have taken toward improvement, Susan is still out of your league.
Also, you & Rich were her intended targets when the hammers stopped working. She can not forget anything about that disaster.
