  1. “For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.”

Seeing things that are not there, or not seeing what is there, is the classic art of illusion and can be accomplished many ways.

Feeling something that is not there might require manipulation of nerves.

Not feeling something that is there is approaching noncorporealness or intangibility.

This reminds me of DC's Legion of Superheros, where every member of an alien species would have an amazing ability.  At least compared to humans.  But only a few would attempt to exploit these abilities in the wider galaxy.

Will Ellen be required to run another game at Salty Crackers?  If Edward brought the game, it could be the US Military Zombie Appocolypse plan.

A little slack in the mummy wrap please.

We had only just discovered the concept of humor.  The cultural sophistication to judge if a joke was good or bad was not developed until the Ptolemlooneyic dynasty.

The US version of Sesame Street, while not truly bilingual, had a notable Spanish language presence.

While I did not understand what was being said in Spanish, it did seem to amuse the characters in the show.

What I want to know is if the Jokes in Spanish were as bad as the Jokes in English?
