The Kentucky Derby
Of all the ridiculous hats at Churchill Downs, no one is wearing a Derby

No doubt in my mind.
The guest star is Alan Smithee. -
1 hour ago, Scotty said:Dan has already stated that it's not Pandora, because Pandora is visiting Sarah during all this.
I had nearly forgotten the meeting that occurred at the same time as the Mall date.
So Volty actually being Pandora is probably not possible. But do they have some relation?

Do home milk delivery services still exist?
I remember seeing The Living Daylights back in the 80s and I thought the idea of an assassin gaining access to a high security facility by impersonating the milkman was ridiculous. There might be dozens of suppliers and vendors who go in and out of facilities like that every day. But is the Dairy Driver still one of them?

Professor Adrian Raven wants to fight, but can not under most circumstances.
If someone directly attacks Adrian, then he can defend himself freely
If an aberration directly and openly attacks Adrian, that could be a rule changer.
And as for pay phones? The mart of walls near my home has one outside where the carts are stored. One time when I forgot my cell, I called home on that pay phone to see if there was anything I needed to pick up. Between the background noise and bad connection communication was impossible. My dad didn't even know it was me on the phone until after I got home.

Got the Saint Louis Blues just as blue as I can be.
That man got a heart like a rock cast in the sea.
Or else he wouldn't have gone so far from me. Doggone it!

If Voltaire just wanted to kill Sirleck, there would be easier ways to do it.
Maneuvering the Aberration into Pandora's line of fire will only serve to make every thing around this story more confusing and chaotic.
Sill, Magus knows Pandora Chaos Raven's full, if self selected, name. Would he be able to tell Sirleck that Adrian is not related to Les Immortels?

You don't have a nose?
How do you smell?

Dan often posts sketchbook or pin-up pics to Patreon a few days before they hit the other pages.
The idea is that no one needs to pay to see the pics, but those who do contribute through Patreon get to see some of the pics a little earlier.

A Jack Hammer. A show is on TV, but I can not hear anything else besides the jack hammer.
Apparently the concrete is thicker than anticipated because they had to go back for a bigger jack hammer.
The bill for this plumbing service call will be deafening as well.

1 minute ago, Wildcat said:I can't help but feel like the bartender looks like a character we know too. But I can't figure out who.
I'm guessing someone similar to Elliot or Ellen behind the beard.
5 minutes ago, Aura Guardian said:But yeah, that bartender's hair... wow.
The bartender needs a source of hair.
The hair will be discovered in the dark British ale and we will then be reading
HAIRY PORTER AND THE WRITER'S BLOCK.

3 hours ago, CritterKeeper said:No way! Elliot is not exactly a good liar, and Susan knows him pretty well. He'd give away that he was hiding *something* by his guilty behavior, and then Susan would have it out of him before Nanase and Diane got as far as the Pompoms' living room!
This is why you do not involve Elliot in the plotting. Just give him the information you want to get to Susan
If you tell Elliot a story, and he accepts it, he will then repeat it as the truth, to the best of his knowledge

Modern politicians can still learn something from Oliver Cromwell, warts and all.

Another report on Leicester City F.C.
5,000:1?
Did anyone here put £200 on the Foxes back in October?

Perhaps the next step would be for Nanase and Diane to confront Mrs Pompoms sometime when Susan will be out of the house.
Does Elliot still have Susan's work schedule?
Or, Susan promised Diane that she and Elliot would review any movie of her choice. Just pick an obscenely long flick and then go to Mrs Pompoms while Susan and Elliot are distracted.

Not which doctor.

Does availability of an ability factor into the relative power level?
Nanase's guardian form is incredibly powerful. But Nanase can not access it freely. The narrative suggests that Divine consent may be required to activate Both times we have seen the Guardian form used in the story, the incident lasted less than one hour And using it certainly causes a temporary loss of access to the rest of her magic after it is used.
Otherwise, Nanase might stay in Guardian form 24/7
Just like the old Voltron jokes. Why not keep the Blazing Sword at the ready at all times? Why separate into the lions? And don't even mention the option with trucks, boats, and helicopters in space.

I know the race was not named for the hat.
But at an event that celebrates millinery madness, a few prominently displayed derbies would almost seem to be mandatory.
