And there is a theory that Greg is dating Vladia.

I wasn't going to mention my secret ship again.  But as long as you want to bring it up...

I thought Guineas and Hedge would need martial arts training because of the same reason Grace needed it.  They need to learn to use and control their advantages without becoming deadly weapons.   And even though Greg hasn't developed any magical combat abilities himself, he has proven his ability to train those who do have unusual abilities.

And one other thing, if the facility where the former nest residents are being evaluated and trained is close enough to Moperville for Greg to commute, then Grace (now that she is over 18) might be able to see her family on a regular basis.  Not just over the video link in the lab.

  2. Paraguayan  economic indicators.

Edit. I thought a recap might be in order...

Thomas went to school wearing his Adorable Pink Frilly Parka that was a gift from his late cousin Amelia.

She acquired a quite unusual Taste in fashion. She had neon streaked hair, and many chains hanging on her neck. But Despite her excessive muscle growth, she's entirely harmless and she gladly hugs almost anyone.

A long time has passed since Amelia died in a prank gone Wrong. Apparently Fireworks were installed with faulty launchers, making it rain explosions. Nowadays, she haunts a very large part of town. Paranormal investigators love to try to cajole information from people who knew Amelia years ago.

At school, Thomas has problems with solving a problem involving other problems. His teachers hate his habit of nesting problems within convoluted webs of letters and numbers to process the streams of data from the latest Paraguayan economic indicators.

  3. Elliot has a much better cat costume that does not require tights.

Ashley's mouse costume is, on the other paw, very cute.  But more than a little cheesy.

I am thinking this might be a dream sequence.  Possibly from Justin's point of view.  He is the only one who knows of Susan's list and would therefore be the only one (other than Susan) who would be wondering "what if Elliot was attending a costume party and Susan showed up ACCIDENTALLY dressed as Counselor Troi?"

  4. Tedd needs someone to intercede on his behalf with his father.

Someone his father can not dismiss as child and is "in the know" about magic.  Someone who could speak sympathetically to Edward for Tedd about gender-identity.  Tedd's advocate need not understand or approve entirely.  But he needs to be able to tell Edward "It's real to Tedd, and by dismissing his feelings on this matter, Tedd thinks you are dismissing him entirely."

So far, I think Adrian Raven is the only one who could do this.  And the only way he would even know to ask is if Grace let something slip.

We know Mrs Kitsune has her own hang ups about gender roles that she tries to work through for the sake of Nanase but would probably think of getting between Tedd and Edward as going too far.

Noriko might be an option, IF we ever find out why she can not make more time for Tedd in the first place.

  5. Even so, Ellen DID go back to the Dojo when Grace became serious about her own martial arts training,

And, as far as I know, we still don't know the status of the ASMA Dojo,  Has Greg closed it or sold it?  Is he keeping it going until he finds a buyer?  Is he teaching at another dojo?

Some time ago, I proposed a wild theory that Ed Verres recruited Greg to help train Grace's siblings.  Nothing in the comic so far contradicts that idea.  Grace and Ellen may have been training at the same place.

  6. Nanase began this evening researching the mysterious cloaked figures in Moperville and then forwarding that information to her Uncle.  This is a vital update to that research and she is now reluctant to share that information?

And I know horror film standard operating procedure would demand that the young people face the danger without assistance from the authority figures.  But I think the relationship between the main eight and Edward Verres has progressed beyond that stage.

  7. Is it possible that Tedd's missing sibling is an older brother?

If Noriko had a son with another father, she may have left that boy in his father's care while she concentrated on her relationship with Edward.  Then she and Edward had a child thinking that might help save their marriage.  A desperate cliché that rarely works out well in fiction or real life.

This other man may was probably also an acquaintance of Adrian Raven and is yet another significant reason he feels guilt and responsibility towards Tedd.

If this other man was also in the monster hunter business, he could have been disabled (or worse) in the line of duty and was unable to keep raising his son from Noriko on his own.  As their marriage was already falling apart at that point, rather than bring Tedd's half brother into Edward's home, Noriko decided to raise him on her own.

  8. Tedd talked himself, Sarah, and Grace into not sharing information with his father.

Pandora put a lot of effort into convincing Sarah not to talk to Tedd's father.

Ellen and Nanase talked themselves into circles justifying a decision to withhold information from anyone.

It would be the hopelessly honest Elliot making a talk with Agent Verres the first option.

Think about what Pandora said about telling Edward being a big no no. She claimed that Edward being aware of Sarah's ability would force him to tell his superiors and then they would force Sarah into working for them. But really, what would Edward's first thought be if Sarah told him that she was marked by who Grace thinks was the creepy girl that appeared on the News shortly after Abraham's attack? The same creepy girl that appeared in front of him, Wolf and Cranium a couple years earlier? I'd think he'd be more worried about that than whatever spell Sarah has, and I think that's why Pandora didn't want Sarah telling Edward.

When described that way, Pandora sounds a lot like a child molester.  Conning the victim into believing that she (the victim) will be punished if she tells someone about the molestation.
