    Well it did rain again today, briefly.

    Not a heavy rain but still embarrassing.  I called for lunch delivery, and it was dry.  About an hour later, the rain started and the driver showed up with my delivery.  I apologized and gave a large tip.

    A long time ago I was in pizza delivery and hated it when people called us for delivery in bad weather.  I do not want to be "That Guy".

    One time when I was at an amusement park, I went into a live show.  Mostly to get out of the sun for a while.  The performers were singing and dancing their way through the audience and one of them thrust a microphone at me.  I had to sing the next line of the refrain to "Three Little Fishies" (dit-tem dat-tem what-tem to be specific).

    I did not want to do that, but I went into that show on my own and had no one to blame but myself.

    Pandora went to the mall looking for someone she could mark.  The universe gave her such an obvious target that she was actually offended.  But now she doesn't have much choice in the matter.  Either she marks Catalina or gives up on the entire plan.

    So she has normal human vulnerabilities.

    A young or weak vampire would not see her as any more or less of a threat or a meal than any other ordinary human.

    Edward and Noriko (and possibly Nanase's mother) were all trained by Adrian.  That is what brought Edward and Noriko together.  I think we generally thought that was why they named Adrian as the Godfather of Tedd.  Of course, by Adrian's own admission it what his at least partly his fault that Noriko's magic work drove them apart.  So Adrian has not been on friendly terms with Edward since then.  Tedd knows of Professor Raven, and perhaps even knows that his father once worked with him.  But I don't know how much Tedd knows about how close his parents were to Adrian.

    Hermine is making a big impact on the Big Bend of Florida.  Here by Tampa Bay, she is dumping a LOT of rain.  It looks like she will move to the north east, but continue to draw tropical moisture from the Gulf of Mexico.  And the main feeder band for all that moisture will cover central Florida for quite a while.

    So the places Hermine hit, and the places she nearly hit, will continue to get wet well into next week.

    With all that rain there is a strong chance of thunderstorms, possibly severe, with high winds, lightning, tornados, local flooding, and water spouts.  But this will be ordinary storm damage.  Not hurricane damage.
