But what is the sensitive information that must remain confidential? 

"My sister yelled at the King" is a statement that could erode decorum and protocol traditions if it got out.  But could also make the Royal Family seem more relatable. 

"My sister yelled at the King while they were wearing matching Crocs" is a statement that would collapse the government.

Even if they weren't matching, wearing crocs is a serious crime against all that is Lawful Good.

Espescially wearing them indoors. Wearing them while walking in sand or mud or wading through water would be making use of the advantages of open non-water-absorbing footwear. My brother for example wears them while dealing with wet floors where normal shoes would get soggy or slip.
