The bunny girl has the same wavy hair style that the squirrel avatar has. Like I said I didn't even notice there was a difference when I first saw her. I was just like "Dan's avatar in a bunny suit" without seeing the lack of squirrel ears and tail. Also why would Dan have a random bunnygirl speak for his decision making process?
  3. Story Thursday June 9, 2016

I guess this answers the question we had about the TFG being used to remove cancer and stuff. It'll hide it, but when the transformation wears off, it'll come back. Someone did ask a good followup question on Twitter though. Would the same apply to Elliot if he got injured in normal form, would morphing into Cheerleadra speed up the healing. Grace has the advantage that her faster healing is due to genetics so it doesn't matter what form she takes. She could get a papercut working at the comic shop and have it healed by the end of her shift. Elliot gets a nasty scrape, would that scrape persist when he morphs into Cheerleadra? Would the faster healing only apply to injuries sustained while in the superhero form? I'm also guessing that if the injury was severe enough it might interfere with Elliot's morphing ability, or else if he ever got into a car accident he could just morph into Cheerleadra and fly to the emergency room.

I don't think I would have noticed if Dan didn't tweet a tumbler question that asked about the bunny suit, but this is probably the first time Dan's drawn his avatar as a human female, not squirrel female. I think the person that asked the question was thrown off by the lack of squirrel features that they didn't recognize that was Dan.

I was speaking purely about appearance.
  6. OOP CMD Regulations

OOP probably allows more versatility and precision for morph that the legalized software can't do. OOP was probably banned for the potential harm it could do against the ruling government (dissidents impersonating prominent figures for example). Of course they didn't want to appear completely tyrannical so they didn't bother grandfathering the laws to include those who already owned OOP morphing devices, though they probably had their use restricted, or stated they can only be displayed but never used. I'm guessing at least from what we've seen of Uryuoms so far, standard CMDs would allow things such as hair and size, Edward's assistant Lavender would be a good example of the extent a standard CMD would go for morphing, an OOP CMD would do more, as Will and Gill are evidence, they wanted to look fully human and standard CMDs couldn't do that so they had Tedd program an OOP CMD.
  7. Story Tuesday June 7, 2016

That's what I meant too, but was thinking along these lines. The longer the hair, the whooshier it gets.
  8. Story Tuesday June 7, 2016

Nah, she wants to control her hair with her mind. Also remember Tedd? Remember Justin?
  9. Story Tuesday June 7, 2016

Huh. That could easily be Susan in 30 years.
  10. Story Tuesday June 7, 2016

Ok, if you want to keep the person human looking. Once you start adding limbs and extra boobs and such, it's going beyond typical human.
  11. Story Tuesday June 7, 2016

If you want to keep the person human, the best you can do is a 640 pack, since that's the number of muscles we have. One could say the example in the Q&A already achieved that.
  12. During Q&A#4, Chika mentions "projected shrink energy" for the soda. The tea would also have a "projected" affect that causes clothing to morph. The energy for this would be generated internally as the tea affects the body.
  13. Story Tuesday June 7, 2016

It's likely Grace has already answered any questions related to this by searching google.

    From wookieepedia:
  15. I think that's a different thing altogether, and I think for animals, it sounds a lot like enchantments on them are powered by calories, hence why they would starve themselves to get rid of an enchantment. For the tea and other foods with an alchemical enchantment, it'd be like taking something for a headache, whatever it is that causes the effect gets absorbed into the body, then fades over time. Again how long it takes would depend on the potency of the ingredients. Here's the thing though, they way I see it, an alchemical enchantment would be something that someone would use in an area with low ambient energy. A trade-off for this might be shortened duration or limited effect that's dependent on the quality of ingredients. As for a spell based enchantment, you could have a longer duration or higher magnitude effect, but it's completely dependent on the ambient energy.
  16. NP Friday June 3, 2016

I can't remember where I saw it, but I remember someone mentioning that the 12 parsec thing was more of a distance traveled rather than time, and referred to Han Solo possibly cutting a lot of corners and going through more dangerous territory.
  17. Possibly, though I would suspect that alchemical enchantments wouldn't rely on surrounding ambient energy. At least not when it comes to its affect on whoever consumes the drink. The effectiveness of the Tea or Soda or whatever else, would be determined by the potency of the ingredients, the potency would be determined by where they were grown/produced. So yeah, if the ingredients were grown in the Moperville area, they'll likely have high potency due to the plants absorbing ambient energy while growing. The end product though wouldn't need ambient energy to produce the effect, and it likely wouldn't affect the duration of the enchantment, the potency of the ingredients would certainly affect duration and probably even affect the magnitude of the effect. Although, I do wonder if high ambient energy would prolong the shelf life of the product.
  18. If the enchantment is a spell, it'd be similar to the enchantment that Not_Tengu put on the punch at Rhea's New Year's party. An alchemical enchantment would be like Germahn Labs Shrink Soda.

Maybe Football Player's attitude was better suited for the stereotypical Cheerleader. Saffron City saw that and needed a new cheerleader for their team and so initiated the trade knowing it would trigger the evolution. Sport teams are always thinking strategically when acquiring players.
  20. If there's an added enchantment spell cast to activate the tea's properties, sure. Then again if the spellcaster was sufficiently skilled, they wouldn't need a lot of ambient energy floating around to do so. Remember, Nanase can also burn calories to power spells, so Téa could also have ways of generating her power without the need for high ambient energy. Yes it does make it easier, but a lack of ambient energy doesn't necessarily make it impossible. Duration of the effect of the tea could also be determined by the ambient energy levels, low energy and the effect wears off about 10 minutes after finishing the cup, high energy and it could be a few hours after. Unresisted of course. My original statement was based on the idea that the tea was an alchemical enchantment, which would rely on the properties of the ingredients and having a proper blend to create the effect. The tea would then be usable anywhere regardless of ambient energy level and still have an effect on the consumer, but growing such ingredients would likely have to be done in a area with decent levels of ambient energy.
  21. Story Friday June 3rd 2016

Several possibilities. 1. The prototype Will and Gillian left with Tedd was not a ranged weapon. As our resident mad scientist tweaked the device, he set the range in increments with which he was familiar. Perhaps 60 feet is the longest straight line distance in his lab, or in the secluded area of the yard. 2. For security purposes, certain operational details of the device, like the exact range, must remain classified. In that case, 60 feet is probably an underestimate of the effective range, but one that does not contradict details already presented in the comic. 3. This answer is a quick summary for the Q&A and too much detail would just get in the way. "Under nominal conditions at the target range, the device is 95.61% accurate at distances less than 18.673 meters, and there are anecdotal accounts of transformations at distances approaching 22 meters in the field." or 4. The distance shown in the TFG's manual would have shown the range in whatever unit of measurement Uryuoms use, and Tedd just converted it into feet probably by measuring the beam himself, though considering Uryuoms have been on Earth for at least a couple generations, an Uryuom>Earthling conversion system has likely been figured out and now we have metric, imperial, and Uryuomocco.
  22. I would think that if the tea ingredients had magical properties, it wouldn't matter where they were used. Of course it'd matter where they were grown though so being in Moperville would be a bonus in that Téa wouldn't have to import them from other parts of the world.
  23. Considering both Téa's name and profession, I'd think she's not only been doing that for a while now, but selling magical tea possibly runs in the family, the secret tea blend being passed down through the generations.

Side effect of the magnetic fields? Yeah, there could be multiple fields being used to create that effect.
