I figure of someone can get away with the naked Ellen joke a while back, a bodypaint joke is fair game. 'Sides, it's not like you can see anything. Also, Have a template:

I would guess that one being right for the sake of overly dramatic timing, given something big's supposedly about to go down. you know how this series is.

Inside jokes that turned into actual products.

I just noticed something... Dan doesn't usually forget that shirts with buttons or zippers will have a noticeable seam in the front... yet Lisa's shirt doesn't. ... so are the buttons on her shirt fake?

Well... I can't speak for the reactor, given appropriately miniaturized power sources are one of the bigger stumbling blocks that make mech suits not a thing IRL, (closest anybody's built, to my knowledge, is more of a powered lifting frame) but if the hardware is exactly the same every time, all you would need for the software is one master copy preconfigured for a specific proprietary setup. also, mass production of printed circuit boards and microprocessors is pretty common even today; look at the console industry. ...but yeah, that reactor might be an issue.

Discord is new enough that I suspect this hasn't happened yet. It was in alpha when I picked it up late last year, and I suspect it's still in alpha, though I can't find anything saying such. Give it time...

People seem to love unauthorised 3rd party addons for things, so there's probably a voice filter out there somewhere for the correct pitch and tone, but you would need to learn the speech mannerisms yourself.

Or it could assemble a few amino acids in the wrong order and WHOOPS! the food lost all it's protein value and may actually be poisonous...

Moving parts are easy. Print the parts separately and have an automated assembler put it together. Like how they build cars, only with printed parts rather than die-cast and pressed sheet metal parts. with food, that plan doesn't work because each individual ingredient is a complicated mix, not just the end result.
  13. Things That Are Just Annoying

i suspect the issue is less the phrasing of the acronym, and more the fact that it's been used since atleast the 90s to refer primarily to 2-for-1 deals, which is clearly not the case in the above scenario. predominantly consistent use leads to certain expectations, that are not being met.

    - Artemis Fowl series (Eoin Colfer) - Earth's Children Series (Jean M Auel) - His Dark Materials series (Philip Pullman) (Religious subtext might get annoying, fair warning) - anything written by David Gemmell - The Book of Atrus - The Book of Ti'ana - The Book of D'ni

Luckily, this is comics, not game, so we don't need to care about it being OP. we do if it gets to the point of having a negative impact on pacing and characterization.

Might not be StarTrek-level replicators, but the replacement Mecha is obviously not from storehouse, but freshly build. Remember than replicating mechas is MUCH simpler than food. well yeah, there's only 4 or 5 substances and they're almost all in rigid shapes. a 3D printer could make that. food has DOZENS of chemicals and textures.
