Strange youtube "music" "videos" that are somehow still a thing...
-
In my case it's more "I'd prefer if you get it right, if not I'll probably correct you, but if you refer to me using a neutral/other pronoun I WILL hit you."
-
Nonsense. Most FPS these days aren't good enough to be doom clones. If (classic) DOOM is gold, and real doom clones (like, in an ironically literal sense, DOOM 2016) are silver, modern FPS games would be the 'thanks for trying' consolation prize you give the little league team that didn't even qualify. Modern FPS, especially Modern Military Shooters, are the "You somehow flubbed easy mode" of games compared to Classic FPS.

Speaking of adaptations that fail, WATCHMEN. a movie with a plot so convoluted I'm pretty sure only a fan could ever enjoy it, I know i was lost for half the thing. except it apparently got that convoluted due to over-condensing and rewriting the source material in a way that pissed off existing fans, making it a movie made for nobody. wonderful job there, Hollywood. -

Bond, James Bond. Then there's Indianna Jones father, the dragon from Dragonheart, and he was in Hunt for Red October, and.... uh... I got nothing else. Can't think of any good roles I've seen him in other than those. -
Where's the button for 299+?

I meant here as in 'this community' not 'this site'. the FF.net and AO3 archives for EGS are more or less dead, and it's presence elsewhere seems nonexistent. Which for an ongoing series with an active enough fanbase to make a patreon account viable seems downright bizarre.

yes, that movie definitely belongs on the list. 4 was atleast a fun movie even if it was oddly silly for an alien movie, and made no sense, even internally, to say nothing of external continuity, but 3 didn't even have that. -
are you sure about that? Nanase ellen and elliot using vocal callouts (see 2nd goop battle & ellen training with grace) occasionally could be chalked up to Greg's teaching style, but Raven and Abraham were calling their spells as well when they fought, and there's no such explanation for them. it might not be necessary for all spells, or even most spells, but maybe some, like Murder Shroud, do need it? it wouldn't be the first spell with oddly specific casting requirements.

...but that's true of ANY fandom. what makes here different?

On an unrelated note, Diane seems to be into magic, and Elliot, but not the kind of magic Elliot tends to get, and seems unsure about trying to compete with Ashley now that they've met... Magus' plot-line seems to be drawing to a close soon (though soon in this comic's world could easily equate to two or three years our time) if the escalation on the aberration front is anything to go by, and the more we see of him the more Magus reminds me of a jaded version of Elliot... What are the chances of Diane falling for a post-restoration Magus?

In general, yes. Occasionally it's fun to dive into the absurdly improbable, or even the impossible, for a bit. Belivable but improbable what if scenarios are what fanfics are for. Which this fandom is severely lacking in...
-
It also led to this joke in the abridged series (12:47 to 13:00, if it doesn't skip ahead properly)
-
what is and is not probable is far more interesting and worthy of discussion than what is possible. at least in my eyes.
-
What's that? ...and ofcourse this immediately brings to mind abridged Dr Gero.
-
Again, until we see a canon example otherwise... Besides, at this point it feels more like your grasping at straws than anything else. I don't see a point in discussing this further.
-
Until we see a canon example otherwise, my guess is not likely, simply because several of the possible scenarios that could lead to would have broken the masquerade ages ago. Children born with unexpected/unusual traits get noticed, and magically occurring phenomena often aren't subtle.

it was origionally, but then confusion occured.

...dan's new look reminds me of a teenage partially furry pandora... Atleast i think it's new. i don't think any of the previous appearances have had me on edge until i realized it wasn't one of the villans on pannel...

well, they do work in a lab. one needs to properly record the results of ones experiments. for science.

so wrong hair, wrong eyes, generics says "not likely" to noriko relation.

Make two copies of the original image, and remove everything but the lines from the one in front. clean up as needed. Turn the other layer into an overlay, and hide it. make a third layer behind both, and use bucket fill to put solid color on the new layer using line layer as a guide. use paintbrush/pen tools to fill in any distorted edges/corners. Turn overlay back on, and fiddle with opacities of layers until desired effect is achieved, trying other modes besides overlay if needed.

Edward's hair is blue, Ted's hair is purple, Nanase has red hair and her motther is purple red brown black inconsistent... (while double checking things for this i found a pic of her with black/brown and one with black/purple... and the rest of the pictures are from gray scale pages and are no help. WTF?) Wiki says purple, so guess i'll go with that, and you get people purple when you add read red to blue, so it's logical to assume noriko's hair is either red or purple something dark. Whatever. specific color isn't as relevant as it being not blond. If the genetics of their world are anything like ours, hair colors more often mix than override one another creating dozens of shades. If noriko was their mother, or a parent in any way, they should have some darker tints to their hair. (susan's current hair color doesn't count. that's magic) they do not. While not imposible, a relation in spite of this contradiction is unlikely.
