Migraine aura passed with no headache phase. That's the good news. The bad news is that when I got to use the bathroom, my lower back said that I might just think about peeing in bed next time. I've got 2 hours to go before I can take another dose.

Both Ukraine and Russian "milbloggers" use Telegram. The Ukraine armed forces don't use it operationally, the Russians do. -

Small City Kansas got it Balkan and Italian migrates before the turn of the last century, well before the depression. Not that it matters much, but this part of Kansas wasn't effected by the dust bowl nearly as much as other parts, mainly due to being a miming area, not a farm area.

Fuck. Getting migraine auras. 3 out of the last 4 were with out headache phase, so I might get lucky. Back still hurts however. so there is that.

Just got an email from the river store. My new chair isn't due to arrive until Friday now. Less than thrilled by this. I see a lot of afternoons in bed this week.

I'm good for about 2 hours sitting in the living room chair, then my back starts to tell me that going to bed might not be a bad idea. Gonna finish my tea an do just that.

OK. Back to big bore Anti Air Artillery. They tried this in WWII and it was no where near as effective as they thought it would be pre war. Now shooting at faster smaller targets. Of course the ground based guidance systems are a lot better and this fires much faster rounds, but I suspect this is gonna be only useful against low and slow targets, like drones and helicopters, where small to mid sized machine guns and auto cannons seem to be doing the job in Ukraine. https://www.thedefensepost.com/2024/07/17/us-army-air-defense/?utm_content=cmp-true -

I'm aware of ethnic neighborhoods, it just you get some odd things sometimes. You would never think that town in the south east part of Kansas would have a largish Balkan and Italian population, both of which Small City Kansas has.
