A some what *interesting* take on Greensleeves

"Why does this butt warmer keep making beeping noises when I sit on it?" - Explorer the Cat.

We had spits of rain around 6:30 this evening. Just enough to show up on the windshield of the car, not really enough to make anything wet. Didn't lower the temperature any

I'm not 100% sure that Rich wouldn't enjoy that. I'm thinking his sub streak might be deeper than we have suspected.

If you need and want rain, yay! If you don't want rain, boo!. Whichever seem to be the case.

The Dan did say that the student "Dick" in North was called that because he was, well, a Dick. https://www.egscomics.com/comic/2008-06-16

Weather Underground says we have a forecast of about 16% chance of rain today, going up ~25% tonight. Their radar shows storm clouds over Small City Kansas, so I suspect I'm going to get rain. On the other hand, I'm not having body aches, so I'm not all that upset.

I never would have called Rich being a bottom.

I suspect that he's going to make some sort of remark about Ellen being dumb or otherwise piss her off.

Actually this was yesterday, but I went to Cookies Cafe in Golden City Missouri for pie. It's a small diner in a small town, but it has the best pie I've had almost anywhere. And a massive selection of them. Check out the pie section of their menu. https://www.cookycafe.com/menu

"The Human has taken the boxes off the of The Box, Need to put it back on the chair." - Explorer the Cat.

Which is exactly what I meant when I said you had to have some sort of power for diplomacy to work. It's not always military power, but can be trade or even location based.
-
I almost used that quote. That does sum up diplomacy quite nicely.

James May, of Top Gear/The Grand Tour fame, "Our Man In ---" series has released season 2, "Our man in Italy" on Amazon Prime. I'm watching them one a day, not binging as to not burn myself out on it. Even if you don't watch TG/GT it's well worth watching, assuming you like travelogue show at all. Season 1 was "Our Man in Japan", which was quite good. Each season is stand alone, so you don't need to watch season 1 to watch this one.

I've got a friend coming by every couple of days to make sure that automatic food and water things are working. He's also said that if it gets too hot, he'll take her to his house.

That make sense to me. In the 70's I spent a lot of time (and lived there for a while) at my grandparents place in the Ozarks. We had a spring that we used for water. Only had a couple of problems with it over the decades, but when it had problems, it had Problems.

Really diplomacy only works if you have some sort of power to back it up.

A song/spoken word about the woods battle of a long ago Pennsic.

Got to say, calling a being of great power "Steve" is, in fact, pretty casual.

"Gonna stretch her in top of the bookcase." - Explorer the Cat.
