I'm internet and Pennsic friends with a belly dancer that does the ren-fair circuit, but I think NC is a little far south for her.

"The Human's tea smells different today. He says it's his expensive no milk tea. And he making that noise when he boils the water for his tea! Don't like that!" - Explorer the Cat. "The tea is Pu'er, which is about $0.75 a cup, assuming I do 3 steeps. And the noise is the stove top whistling kettle, the electric one stopped heating water and I haven't ordered a new one yet." - The Human

I jest, obviously. I have made my skin raw from that stuff. On the other hand, it got the paint off. -

The earliest I can take my "night time" meds is 16:00. That's also when my Zyrtec timer goes off. My acetaminophen timer ran out about 10 minutes ago, so I'm taking a small handful of pills at 4 and eating an early supper then crashing for the night. This has been a Very unproductive day.

Think I'm gonna eat a couple of star crunches, drink a Dr Pepper (that totals 450 cals, which is lunch) then go read until it's time to take my night time meds and eat supper. I still feel aggressively meh.

There are a lot of "magazines" that you used to see in the check out aisles that seemed to have disappeared. Haven't seen a wedding on in years, maybe decades. Or one of the "manly" versions about cars/trucks.

Oh, don't be a wimp. Use Lava soap on it.... <do they even make Lava any more?> <google>Seems they do. -
My use of Zyrtec is for an acute issue, not a general use of it. I get swelling in my ears (normally left, because of course it's the [redacted]ed up left ear) with some weather patterns. Had them this time last year and I went to the clinic. Nurse said take Zyrtec for a week and come back if it didn't fix it. Same thing happened this year, almost exactly a 365 days later. Assuming it works, which I have no reason to think it will not, I'll by off it Monday.

I am feeling aggressively blah. I'm gonna finish this pot of tea, then go read in bed. Might even nap. At least the floaters/auras went away with out a headache phase, so there is that.

Either I've got some aggressive "eye floaters" or I'm having an atypical migraine aura phase. They don't seem like normal aura effects, but there is something going on. Last time (yesterday!) I had an aura phase it didn't lead to a headache phase, so there is that. Left eye is worse, which is also not normal.

Zyrtec is a once per 24 hours pill. It's anti swelling aspect on my left ear seems to last about 16 hours. Less than optimal. It being a 24 hour pill means I can't take my anxiety meds, my 3 times a week sleep aid, or my vertigo meds, all of which are antihistamines. Haven't needed the anxiety meds or sleep aid (yet) but needed the vertigo yesterday.

Not real fond of Cheech & Chong in general. Don't like Chong more the Cheech as it happens.

As if I wasn't having enough problems with ears, nose and knees, starting to get auras. Please, by all things lawful good, no pain phase today. Of course the analgesic I took for my knee haven't kick in yet, so they should be a peak power if I do get a pain phase. FML

And I watched the Try Channel and Brain Blazes' Florida Man Friday and I think I'm gonna go read in bed. See y'all in the morning, where hopefully I'll be more functional.

You might be right handed, but the majority of the important keys an a QWERTY keyboard are left hand. Not having it sucks. -
I'm glad some one is getting some work done. I've been a sneezing veg table since about 9. I re-read (about the 5th time) the Hope arc, this time with reading the comments. That's about all I got done so far. In 3 minutes or so, "The Try Channel" will post their Friday video so I'll spend 20ish minutes watching it. Not sure what I'll do after that, but nothing that requires braining.

Why do my knees hurt? It's sunny out side right now. Check Weather Underground Well, that explains a lot.

That is a Europe/English thing. And as I said, by Kansas standards.

https://www.egscomics.com/sketchbook/2024-006 Jay does look de-stressed. This should be made canon.

By Kansas standards, I don't live in a small town. Small city, but not small town. Small towns have three digit populations. SCK has a population of 20,504 as of 2023, according to the googles.
