Newton is the toughest son-of-a-bitch in space! I know, I was roleplaying person who has good scientific reason to think arrow is magic. Still, I think Einstein is the toughest son-of-a-bitch in space. Or whoever develops the FTL technology. Like Zefram Cochrane. Can you imagine what will happen with planet hit by something moving at warp 4? (If you don't want to imagine, visit Coridan III in 2155, Galorndon Core in 2157 or Draylax in 2160.) (Note: By "visit", I mean be around there in masked ship. I wouldn't recommend visiting surface.)

Maybe we should label the pinups with the time they were SUPPOSED to be done, just to keep track ...

Not that one. This one. One of the best pieces of military hardware ever made. I though that's AK-47. Oh, wait, "one of". Still, I had one and tried to open can with it, so I disagree. On the other hand, I wasn't in trench, maybe it works better there. And that's just few comics. Imagine how a vampire who spent centuries reading stuff feels ... anything will remind him something he read. (Hmmm ... did I saw vampire like that somewhere?)

I feel like if not for the hair style, it would be hard to say it's Tensaided. While I don't see how could that happen, it IS only way how to get a picture in video store ...

P-38 must be quite effective in opening cans. I like the puma idea. Grace had supposedly same weight in all her forms prior to using TF gun ...

Most dogs are bigger, and therefore stronger than cats. Plus, to the best of my knowledge, cats don't have the teeth/jaw combination that canines do, because breaking up bones isn't part of their diet. What about hedgehogs, do they have that combination? Remember Ijuin: Obviously, dogs ARE carnivores. Maybe normal cats don't have the strength and/or teeth/jaw combination, but it's not something impossible. Either hedgehog genes make it better, or maybe Jeremy doesn't mix JUST cat and hedgehog. Or it's not DOMESTIC cat. It's also possible that it's harder for him than for CritterKeeper's dog. (It's also possible CritterKeeper's dog is dachshund or even Chihuahua and the note about dogs being bigger that cat is funny in this case.)

At least someone. With the amount of ambient energy in Moperville, they might need another FOUR enchantments until it finally stops working. We don't know if the time is halved. But anyway, yay new info! They would need to stay in one place far longer than few minutes, and unlike Sarah, Rhoda can keep the enchantments going for some time from her own energy. So, no. They need to calm down and stop wanting to be disguised. Or, well ... it's possible the enchantments ends when they go to sleep. Few months maybe, rest of their lives, no. This is EGS. I see following possibilities: 1) By getting more experience with their spells, they get enough confidence to know if they are transformed. 2) They stop caring how they look. 3) They get new spell allowing them to feel how they look and what enchantments are affecting them without looking. I like the third option.

In the episode in question, Picard even brings up how something as apparently mundane as a bow and arrow would seem magical to someone who had never seen them before. Pretty much anything that is greatly beyond a given person's understanding is effectively magic (or at least wondrous) to them. Well of course arrow is magic. It can fly without flapping wings or any other propulsion. And everybody knows™ that in the absence of an external motive power, all objects (on Earth) would come to rest and that moving objects only continue to move so long as there is a power inducing them to do so. The great Aristotle confirmed it. Who's Newton?

Case closed.

Well, Noriko wanted to tell him, but with all that arguing about her going to Europe, there was no correct moment ... ... now, seriously: the major problem with this is that Raven wouldn't lie to Noah about his mother being dead. And from context, Noah is convinced his mother died before he could remember her. So, if Noah's mother is alive, Raven doesn't know. He presumably know if Noriko is alive.

Going faster than cheetahs would be less "faster because catgirl spell" and more simply "faster because Magic speed boosting". 1) I meant faster than proportional cheetahs. 2) With some calculations based on ratio of weight and ratio of size, the highest justifiable speed can easily be higher than cheetahs. 3) Magic doesn't need to explain itself. There already isn't physical reason why cat tails and cat ears should provide ANY speed boost. If magic decides that correct speed because catgirl spell is higher than cheetahs, then it will be. I know of several where someone ELSE would pose as gods (although it was even more common in TOS), but the cast? Can't remember either. Definitely not movie, there wasn't that many TNG movies so we can rule them out one by one: 7, no, 8, no, 9, no, 10, no. Ok, now, let's use google ... Season 3 episode 4, Who Watches the Watchers. While there IS some connection to Insurrection, the society in Insurrection was nowhere near primitive enough to believe TNG cast are gods, they only pretended to be.

But two of the sigils are destroyed and one is damaged! I want a Grrl Power / EGS cross over. Crossover, why not. But I definitely hope we avoid experiments on topic of "they always were in same universe, honest". They certainly weren't. But EGS have multiverse and not only that, it already featured in crossover wars (although nothing was shown in canon). -
Might not be actually STEEL cans. Was only described as "cans of cat food".

"Think of me as family" ... that reminds me: 7: Naomi Wildman, do you consider me to be family? N: I ... I don't, I mean ... well ... yes. N: Is ... that okay? 7: I have no objection. N: Do you... think of me as family? 7: Yes. His involvement in Damien's creation might not be THAT direct. Noah being part-Uryuom was why we GET that Q & A in first place. Sure, it was talking about Grace, but it was actually explaining how Noah can be part-Uryuom and still have magic. ... true, there will be more to suppress for Grace ... Not necessarily, I mean, sure his "mother" may have been just a DNA donor which would explain him not knowing her, but I don't think he would have had his growth accellerated, unless he was an early attempt at creating Damien where the acceleration didn't work. Or, possibly, only worked partially.

You personify the will of magic too much. It already follows the rules consistently. It has to. Any apparent inconsistence is only due to holes in our knowledge about magic. Just as with the quantum physics. Sure, it's impossible to predict when given unstable atom will decay, but the rules are perfectly consistent.
-
There, I fixed it for you. That's from our point of view, however. Cat and Rhoda might not like it as much. I meant from their point of view. I mean, they will likely like it a lot, but afterwards ... Will of magic didn't changed his ability. Just made mass-producing those wands bad idea. I was using "magic wands" because "spell catalyst", while more exact term, isn't so obviously magic. But, yes, usual wands include some energy storage, just like Tedd's gauntlet. It's not like watches being proof of concept before moving to wands. Tedd is programming lot of different watches as proof of concept for different spells. The reason he didn't move to wands isn't he needs more testing ; he knows how to make a wand but with ambient magic doesn't need to.
-
Tedd can confirm this. He started working at TF gun technology and ended up creating magic wands. I wouldn't be surprised if they were even faster. As long as they don't pass a pet shop and catch the scent of catnip. ... yeah, jumping into catnip would be extremely bad idea.

I do not even know what does pointy ears look like in Gooniverse, seeing that Susan's should be Vulcan pointy. I suppose you are joking, as Adrian Raven has pointy ears when not transformed. Also, immortals. -
... I'm slightly disappointed my prediction of them running on all four wasn't fulfilled. But them running super fast is also cool. And there is still possibility of them jumping into something later.
-
Might have to do with the spines, their abillity to roll up into balls, and also run at sonic speed. I saw several hedgehogs. There were not blurry enough to move at sonic speed, and most importantly, I didn't hear the sonic boom when they decided I'm too close. Although maybe they do have genes encoding that ability and that gene just don't express in Europe. They were not blue either.

Apparently, most people engage in bondage, sensation plan and power exchange without realizing they are doing it. Depending on context, some permission might be implied. There are different rules for office and for club/party. I would never be that bold, but I assume it's because I'm shy and bad at reading context and body language, and not because the others are sexual predators.- 25 replies

Considering the genetic engineering involved to get the cross to even be viable, the lifespan could be anywhere from days to a century. I wanted to object that both are mammals, but considering cats have 38 chromosomes and hedgehogs 90 ... not sure what the hedgehog needs those chromosomes for but apparently there is big difference between those two.

Must be shading. Looks that way on small image, but the ears are definitely rounded in bigger version. -

Yeah, but Noah likely doesn't know about that, so he'd be drawing from what he's just heard. Oh. Right. Noah might totally assume this was the reason. He would just be wrong. Grace being GOOD AT MATH is part of her Uryuom heritage. Being good at analyzing physical structure can easily be just as well. And her Uryuom senses may be "technically magic" just as her transforming. Right. Justin may not actually see through the disguise, just guessed correctly based on this trope. And more importantly, wasn't near Noah when he disappeared. She may still recognize him based on body language. Or, well ... she can recognize him as Seyunolu the same way Will & Gill recognized her as Seyunolu. (That likely WAS use of Uryuom senses.)
