If Catalina joins the military and earns a commission, would she be a Major Disaster?

Previously unconsidered option for the magic discussion.  Catalina is so excited that she can turn into a cat, and/or that Rhoda can change sizes, that she will bring up the subject herself long before Sarah and Susan can clumsily move the conversation in that direction.

Well, she would need 3 promotions first and going from CPT to MAJ is one of the hard ones.

By doing the back flip, I think Catalina was attempting to land on all fours like a falling cat

This is what makes me think she will be the one to mention the mystical divinity of unashamed felinity

To be honest I sorta thought that was what she was going to do when she did the backflip.  i.e. Turn herself into a cat mid flip.
