Hope appears to be full of self doubt and regret for the actions of her former self.

Justin is not one of the people she thought of as family and friends. I wonder if she will connect with him anyway.

Justin may not be the closest person to Tedd. 

However . . . 

Justin is a martial arts student with Tedd's best friend and Cousin. 

Justin works with Grace. 

Justin fought to protect Elliot and Grace. 

Considering Tedd's introverted background, Justin is closer to Tedd than most people have ever been allowed. 

Also, Justin has suffered because of mistakes made by someone he trusted. 

Hope is just beginning to comprehend how much Pandora's games would halve hurt Tedd.
