So my suspicion is that in the last panel, Tedd turned on the same sort of Aura Vision that Luke has, and Edward has a painfully bright aura (though probably not as bright as Tedd's own). A more humorous option would be that Tedd accidentally switched to "see-through-clothes" vision (or something that has that as a side-effect).
