But is it better to have Noah believe that Damien killed his mother, and let him go on a quest for revenge that might have ended in Noah confronting Damien and possibly getting killed as well if it wasn't for Grace confronting Damien first? Though maybe Adrian's way of guiding Noah with his magic training was a way of stalling Noah in the hopes that Damien would be dealt with by someone else.

Hedge is 75% human, 25% hedgehog, it's pretty safe to say the hedgehog DNA doesn't dictate size for him,
  3. Story Wednesday December 14, 2016

DNA ratios could be a factor as well, like more cat DNA over hedgehog DNA could explain Jeremy and Max being more feline.

So I was kinda right in that multiple enchantments would make it harder to maintain their durations. Because the enchantments are now tied to Rhoda's disguise, it's like they've merged into one enchantment to conserve energy, hence the averaging out of sizes and Rhoda also getting cat ears and tail. Of course the ambient energy will negate any worry of the enchantments losing power before Rhoda and Catalina no longer need them as Pandora said, this just seems like a failsafe for stacking enchantments.
  5. Story Thursday December 29, 2016

Well, Noriko wanted to tell him, but with all that arguing about her going to Europe, there was no correct moment ... ... now, seriously: the major problem with this is that Raven wouldn't lie to Noah about his mother being dead. And from context, Noah is convinced his mother died before he could remember her. So, if Noah's mother is alive, Raven doesn't know. He presumably know if Noriko is alive. There is the question of timeline as well. As it is, Noah, Tedd and Grace are roughly the same age, give or take a couple months. Noah being born before Tedd would cut out Noriko as his mother because she wouldn't have a reason to attempt another child as she was still pregnant with Tedd and didn't yet know of his supposed magic impairment. Noah being born after Tedd would increase the chance of Noriko going to an alternate method, but Noah's father was supposedly working on creating Damien. Would Noriko have collaborated with someone who apparently felt Seyunolus were superior let alone left the child with them? The only possible explaination for Noriko being Noah's mother that I can think of would be if her DNA was taken without her knowledge, so it would make it likely that not even Edward or Adrian would know.
  6. Story Thursday December 29, 2016

Noah would be a Human/Uryuom hybrid only though, Grace is Human/Uryuom/Squirrel/Lespuko, that could be a significant difference. As far as we've seen, Seyunolus have very limited shapeshifting ability at least until they get transformed by something like the TFG. If Noah has never been zapped before then he wouldn't be able to do much with his Uryuom power so it would be much easier to suppress it, Grace on the other hand, has many different abilities that would need to be suppressed in order to attempt to learn magic. I imagine that Adrian would have helped Noah with it as well. Not necessarily, I mean, sure his "mother" may have been just a DNA donor which would explain him not knowing her, but I don't think he would have had his growth accellerated, unless he was an early attempt at creating Damien where the acceleration didn't work.
  7. Miscellaneous Questions

New Question: Who told Noah about Damien's death and who killed him? All we have is that the day after the events of Painted Black, Noah got word about it and visited his parents' grave. Later, during Death Sentence, Noah says "all they told us...". Who are "they"? The feeling I get is that this report didn't come from a second hand source, but from someone who what there when Damien was killed, so that leaves out anyone from Commander Jaguar's group. And I don't think Wolf and Cranium would have relayed it at Edward's request. And the phrasing wouldn't fit either group as well. I'm wondering if Helena and Demetrius were the ones that told him, it's likely they were there watching over Elliot and the phrasing used to tell Noah seemed like something an Immortal would say. But then the question would be, how did they know about Noah's parents being killed by Damien and his quest for revenge? For that matter, who all aside from Adrian would have known about Noah and cared enough to let him know that Damien was dead. This might go back to how Adrian became Noah's guardian and I don't think Edward was involved considering it likely happened after Edward and Adrian had their falling out.
  8. Story Thursday December 29, 2016

I thought Dan had always taken inspiration from DBZ when designing Damien's form for Painted Black. Anyway, it was speculated that Noah's parents were likely involved in some way with Damien's creation, though I think it was more expected that they were just in the same facility and ended up being collateral damage from Damien's rampage. To hear that Noah's dad had direct involvement, makes me think he was a Seyunolu as well since Damien was supposed to be part of a prophecy that united all Seyunolu. Noah's mother was likely one as well which would make Noah at least second generation Seyunolu.
  9. Story Wednesday December 14, 2016

It's probably more likely that Max and Jeremy were from the Uryuoms demonstrating how their eggs worked as part of their knowledge sharing with the paranormal division.

He hasn't actually created any wands, just watches*. Though he was pretty confident that wands were within his ability...until he learned about the will of magic. *I know it's probably arguing semantics that watches are no different than wands, but considering the watches only work because of the high ambient energy, I would think that actual wands would have a larger spell catalyst to work anywhere. The watches are more proof of concept for Tedd before moving to wands. I'd say we should suggest this as a pinup, but I've been unable to drum up enough interest in the cupcake frosting frolic idea.

Might have to do with the spines, their abillity to roll up into balls, and also run at sonic speed.
  15. Story Friday December 23, 2016

The werewolf attacked Abraham's master and killed him. A Nobleman then killed the werewolf but was cursed by it in the process. Abraham then made the diamond to cure the Nobleman. That's the order of events that was in the journal that Tedd read. So werewolves certainly existed before the diamond, and the journal doesn't suggest that Abraham's master was trying to become one.
  16. But there is a difference between being submissive and enjoying the feeling of being touched. Would seeing a chiropractor or masseuse be considered a form of S&M? I mean there is physical contact, pain is usually involved, and you're supposed to feel good from it while you just lay there and let them work. It's certainly more than what Sarah and Susan are doing. Sure Sarah's given Susan free reign to touch her as much as she wants, but I think Sarah's more curious to see how far Susan will go and that's what excites her. There was this little game one of my friends played when she was being flirty, she'd put her hand on someone's knee, then slowly inch it up their thigh while asking "are you nervous?" at any point the person being touched could push her away if they became uncomfortable. This is basically the reverse of that game in that person doing the touching is also the person that could become uncomfortable and stop.

Yeah, but Noah likely doesn't know about that, so he'd be drawing from what he's just heard. I still say that Grace knowing that Sam wasn't a guy physically isn't some magical, or Uryuom base sense, but rather more to do with the fact that Grace has really gotten good at analyzing physical structures, and can just tell the difference between a male and female body despite Sam's attempt to hide it. Noah may look feminine like Tedd, but there's probably still key features that someone who knows what to look for can tell that "yes they are male", Noah's disguise was obvious to Justin because Noah disappeared just before shadow guy showed up and Justin works at a comic shop and is full of pop culture trivia that he'd of course know that someone mysteriously leaving the scene of trouble moments before the superhero arrives must mean the person is the hero. Grace on the other hand wouldn't know about that cliche yet and Noah's face was well concealed in that disguise, so it wouldn't have clicked that the shadow guy was Noah.
  18. Things that make you sad.

Especially considering I mentioned her heart attack several days ago, but it seemed like she was recovering. It's like a fricken roller coaster of emotion here...
  19. Why switch? Where have we seen her top? She didn't want to do so to Elliot, and in fact sorta wants him to be the top, in mild sort of way. She maybe a sub and not quite understand what that is. I see this as more Sarah having gone to a full 3 on the Kinsey scale and having lots of fun with it.
  20. Story Tuesday December 27, 2016

I think maybe Noah might understand why Adrian always steered him away from dark paths in his quest to avenge his parents' deaths. Because Adrian knew (maybe even experienced) what Pandora did after Blaike's death and didn't want Noah to do anything similar.

Hair on that girl isn't anywhere near long enough either.
  22. Story Friday December 23, 2016

I saw it as "If I had known this would traumatize him so much. I wouldn't have wasted all that time trying to get Elliot killed". There is a big difference between them, specifically in the fact that werewolves are cursed and have no control of it, whereas aberrations willfully changed themselves for power. I don't think aberrations would ever be extinct considering the nature of how they are created, the temptation for immortality and power would continue to make some people turn to the dark side. I guess it's possible for werewolves to make a return as well if a lycanthropy spell backfired or someone powerful enough recreated the curse. That really depends on how much Pandora is able to do after her reset. She may be able to help Sarah finds pockets of magic for her to use her spells in, transfer some of her own power into Sarah to help. It might not take much for Pandora to do something like that and it'd still fall under guiding and empowering. Now if she was improperly reset, that might make things more difficult. If they were about to complete a reset when they got wind of something about to happen to Nanase and Susan, they could have halted the process which put them on a timer to get what they needed to do done. Like "this is risky as it would mean messing up our reset, but if we don't do this, someone will die", their disappearance after taking Nanase and Susan to the vampire could have been their time running out and the improper reset being done. This is probably more likely, though I'm leaning more towards Voltaire now than Pandora. While Pandora and Magus knows about Helena and Demetrius being improperly reset, I'm not sure whether they know why they were improperly reset. What we've learned from Pandora in this arc doesn't seem to jive with the original idea that she was responsible for everything, especially considering Voltaire has already claimed responsibility for part of it and his behaviour seems more fitting of being responsible for more of the stuff. Pandora seems more interested in harmless fun and pranks and will fiercely defend anyone who's friends with Tedd, while Voltaire has been pretty darned violent and wants to see Tedd suffer. I still think Pandora's "Egg" threat was mostly an exaggeration on her part just to see Edward and the paranormal division run around, she knows Edward is Tedd's dad so she wouldn't hurt him, she probably just wants to keep him on his toes. Voltaire, on the other hand, might be more willing to take that scenario and make it a real dangerous situation.
  23. Story Friday December 23, 2016

We still don't know the true nature of Helena's and Demetrius' reset, it's obvious that it was improper which does suggest a forced reset, but according to Jerry, disrupting a natural reset could also cause an Immortal to not return with their knowledge intact. Also I don't think that their interaction with Nanase and Susan would have been the direct cause of their reset either because if lying to them to get them to kill a vampire was all it took, then Voltaire should be due for a quick trip to improper resetsville as well for lying to Tara to get her to kill Elliot. What's more forced reset worthy? Getting a couple teenagers to kill a dangerous being that all Immortals despise? Or trying to get a very powerful griffin to kill an innocent teenager because he wants to traumatize someone who may end up being the most powerful wizard in a long time. The other thing about Helena's and Demetrius' reset is they weren't reduced to children in terms of intelligence, sure their knowledge of their past lives were fragmented, but they still knew how to walk and talk and maybe even chew bubble gum at the same time. If Pandora was forced to reset and her knowledge got fragmented like that, it's likely the only thing that Adrian would be able to do would be to help sort it out with her, everything else would eventually come naturally to her. Her vow with Sarah might be tricky though, I imagine she would have that nagging feeling that she should be helping Sarah, but she might not remember what unless she's told. That's why I'm pretty sure Helena and Demetrius has been watching over Elliot this whole time, because they vowed to do so to someone.

So, in other words, Tedd would really love to see that spell in action so that he could make watches that don't just "squish and stretch".
  25. NP Monday December 26, 2016

OK...I'm really confused. One paragraph has Dan saying their sizes have averaged out so that Catalina is now 6'0" and Rhoda is 5'6" which is 6 inches taller than normal. Then the next paragraph says they're 3'5.1" and 3'1.7" respectively. Which is it and why throw both sets of heights out there (aside from wanting to confuse me)?
