Just had the weirdest thing happen. Having a vertigo attack almost an hour after I got out of bed. So much for getting milk this morning.

In my part of Kansas (it's not state wide, but local option) you have to have a prescription to get any.

The worse thing that ever happened to me was a kid got motion sick and barf across the isle so hard it splashed on me. I was making a day trip so had no change of clothes. Sucked. Thinking about it, I can still remember the smell and that was 50 some odd years ago.

I'm task avoiding getting out of bed this morning. Granted it's before my alarm goes off, but I've been awake for an hour now.

Anti vent. My body is weird. Yesterday I had a massively runny nose. This morning, at least so far, dry as a desert.

I repeat my generalized anger at meth users and producers that make getting pseudoephedrine so hard to get in Kansas. I've gone through about a 3rd of box of tissue today so far.

My point. Even "high resolution" radar doesn't give that sort of pictures. And 5.4mhz isn't high res. And the receiver is damn sure not high res.

I used to remember, as a solo child under 10 or so, riding the bus from Tulsa to Oklahoma City to visit my grandparents. This would never happen today, not the least of which because of cost.

I suspect they started having trouble about the time of the first "energy crises" and never really recovered.

That's sorta sad in a way. Bus used to be the cheap way to travel longish distances.

Europeans, and to a lesser extent coastal Americans, don't seem to understand just how vast the middle part of America is, and how empty of people it is. They sorta assume population density similar to their own and wonder why there isn't more public transport.

Last time we saw Pandora sleep (for a week) she looked like a cloud, so yeah, they hide. This raises the question can they stay on their special hidden plain while unconscious.
