I've read Starfinder, but never played it. From what I can tell, however, is that it's pretty tightly tied to the Pathfinder universe, just in the future. No one in the local area has wanted to play anything other than D&D and there has been some push back vs just Spelljammer, so a wholly space going game is going to have problems. Plus my lack of hard copy books might make for a problem.

One of my close neighbors is using a power saw. Explorer is Not Happy about this, and to be honest I'm not real thrilled about it either.

If you have Discovery+ and like weird Rube Goldberg like machines and/or Richard Hammond, you should watch Contraption Masters. Great fun.

My new printer arrived yesterday afternoon and I didn't have enough spoons to deal with it. So I set it up this morning. Given that it's an older model Brother printer, it was really just a case of plugging it in and printing a test page.

There is a good π place in Golden City Missouri. It's a tiny town, but if you are in the "quad state" area (SW MO, SE KS, NE OK, NW AR) it's well worth the side trip. https://www.cookycafe.com/menu Check out the "home made pie" section of their menu. I suspect that he would assume that there are two people, but he might think that "Elliot" is in fact one of the other members of the main 8 (Tedd most likely) in "Elliot" form. Either way would cause him to have some reevaluation of his theories to happen. -

Oddly, when Panama declared that a state of war existed between it and the US, the US invaded. Of course Iran never, as such, declared war on the US, just gave us casus belli by taking the staff of the embassy hostage. -
It was OK. I think I put just a little to much dressing on it. Put the rest away for lunch and maybe supper tomorrow.

I didn't eat today, other that a couple of handfuls of cheesites. So, despite it being well past the time I normally make food (yeah, I go to bed early, I'm old) I'm making some pasta salad. However I'm trying it with Italian salad dressing and olives, instead of the normal ranch or blue cheese dressing I normally make. Let y'all know how it is in 30 minutes or so.

While there is precedence for "George" to be used as a female name (sorta, George Elliot springing to mind) I'm not seeing Larry as a fem name. Plus George seems it be secure in his masculinity, while Larry might not be. Ellen, on the other hand, don't transform people with out asking. -

I've noticed that both of the "large rude geeks" in the comic (George and Mr. d10) both have a strong "no gatekeeping" ethos. And both of them seem to have issues with Rich and/or Larry getting out of line.
