  1. More Speculation.

Magus is most certainly involved in Sister 3, and judging by his dialog, he's regretting his partnership with Sirleck, well he never liked having to ask Sirleck for help anyway, but he certainly has to be thinking "what am I doing with this thing!?!". Yeah, Sirleck says it's Magus' plan, but I'm thinking Magus didn't expect Sirleck to go to this extreme. Something tells me that Magus may do something to try to make things right again even if it means possibly not being able to get his physical body back, but I still think things will work out for him. Right, he already appeared. But he didn't get near Elliot yet and while we expect that, it may be postponed to Sister 4. Destroying her image like that? Unlikely. She may not. Immortals are limited on physical plane both by not actually being so powerful on it AND the fairy laws. Magus is not under fairy laws protection, but the body would be. I think that Pandora reseting by her choice would be pretty big story line on its own, would be bad idea to stuffing it into Sister 3 and she may also not have enough time for it. Her being force-reset because she decides to fix (or "fix") something even if it means breaking immortal law AND dealing with her after-reset later would be possible, yes ... I don't think they manage to unclog the clog before the vampire attack ... on the other hand, with Sister 3 starting with Pandora's backstory, maybe it will still fit into it? Hmmm ... I really find weird that Dan would suddenly deliberately made story arc which is already longest and still feels like being in first half.
  2. Theoretical next set of pinups

Yes. We do? I was actually thinking about this, this and this, then also this (PROBABLY basement), this possibly basement technically naked and the almost naked this and this. Actually, the first link is already using the "forgot to wear anything" narration.

Adrian Raven was likely making Moperville weird even before Verres-Kitsune family appeared. Unless you count Noah into the main cast, we know for sure it doesn't. Noah was certainly playing superhero before. Also, Andrea was observed lot of times. (Unless you mean "most" in literal sense, meaning more-than-half. Then maybe.)

In the commentary for the MV5 page I linked, Dan referenced the Gaming Webcomic page with the line "Ellen presumably suggested ice cream as an alternative after panel two". ... oh, text on link in commentary. Didn't noticed that. I think there was some comment about how it's not entirely canon that Grace is playing games from our universe. Like, it's obviously canon that Grace is playing games (which accounts for the referenced scene), but in canon, she's playing games like Legend of Celida. I think she would be asking Tedd for assistance with undressing, but not when changing dresses on time The shapeshifting or the fast clothes change? So, new game. Find the changes. Yup, we have it confirmed. This game wouldn't be possible to happen in canon.
  5. General Note on NP strips

Really? That explains why Sarah is blushing. I was wondering if she looked at Grace few moments sooner that we did ... I would suspect more likely reason why this would be better in higher resolution would be the "find 10 differences" game.
  6. Theoretical next set of pinups

What is theoretical of them? Is this like poll result or something? Link? Don't we already have several cases of naked Sarah in Tedd's basement? Sounds good ... Very general. Familiars are usually normal cats, not catgirls ...
  7. Story Wednesday April 12, 2017

I suppose you meant Voltaire and Damien. General Shade Tail was talking about pets only ONCE and I'm pretty sure he was talking about the specific relationship Nioi described as being voluntary servant and not in general "humans are pets" sense. I don't think whatever Voltaire plans would be consistent with Arthur Arthur goals. But yes he might be manipulated by him. How far is the mall from Adrian's house? It's possible vampire attack itself will lure him closer to mall. Dan might plan to get everyone into the mall, but he doesn't need Sirleck to actively follow the same plan. I'm pretty sure she's using her sword here. Hard to see between the text and edge of panel but what else would she be doing? And she probably used it more of-panel. Justin brough her to Ellen. She then was at Tedd's house, commented that Justin should think and made out-of-character note and let let Justing make her ponytails. Sure, she wasn't actually FIGHTING, but she was in the story. Susan was there, trapped under Jeremy. Actually, all eight are on this page. Susan was missing at the meeting after fight with fire dude, though.
  8. Story Friday April 7, 2017

... which seems like very weird choice of topic for being homophobic and misogynistic, but I only saw the movie. Maybe he somehow managed to display misogyny despite hardly any woman taking part in it and homophobia between Spartan soldiers, which are known for homosexual relationships in military.
  9. Story Friday April 7, 2017

Based on the movie, some of those whores were very bad ass too.
  10. NP: Wednesday April 12, 2017

Full details can be the death of the artist, some times. Full details would be death of the artist every time. No comics artist is ever doing full details. To see what I'm speaking about, look at this cover ... it looks pretty detailed, after all, it's chapter cover, but now compare with this image of the center character. You want people who go full detail? Look at CGI in major blockbuster movies. Obviously, that can hardly be called drawing. (I don't mean animated ones. I mean the ones where some characters are played by real actors and some probably don't because not even Peter Jackson can afford to hire a dragon.)
  11. NP: Wednesday April 12, 2017

Wait what? I think Dan clearly said it doesn't. Yes, it was still the best explanation I got. Except this one obviously. This doesn't count as it's out-of-continuity explanation. (Also, yes, most likely.)
  12. NP: Wednesday April 12, 2017

No, the couch always has the pattern. It's just that the pattern seem to disappear the moment it gets even slightly out of focus. :-)
  13. NP: Wednesday April 12, 2017

...WOW... Dan's good...... The stairs seems unchanged.
  14. Story Wednesday April 12, 2017

Ok. We can assume Voltaire knows about the second purpose. Everything he did as part of plan A was failure, surprisingly it still worked. And he seems taking credit for that. His planing process doesn't seem completely sane ... I suspect that the thing which triggers his second purpose is the magic reset. Also, I suspect that we already saw how bad it can go. Lord Tedd.
  15. Story Friday April 7, 2017

Important thing is who Dan is referring to. But this Frank Miller seems most likely. Despite wikipedia not mentioning any controversy and Sin City being mentioned as well received by audiences and critics.
  16. NP: Wednesday April 12, 2017

I think that most of story will be Grace at work, this is only training. I would prefer continuity, on the other hand ... Grace using her shapeshifting makes sense, but changing clothes? I'm surprised she almost made it in time. Wait. Sarah changed clothes too. What?
  17. NP Monday April 10, 2017

Well, they already knew some pretty weird things happen at Tedd's house. Short of taking away his son's best friend, there's not a lot Mr. Verres could do to prevent Elliot finding out Best and quite possibly only. If Sarah wasn't coming for some time after the incident, Elliot might've been only friend. Hmmm ... and Nanase was flying in school. They really wasn't good at keeping secret before start of comics, were they? Well, kids ...
  18. Story Friday April 7, 2017

Sure. But you can't blame Mearns for this version. (Well ... ok, you can, but it would be unfounded.)
  19. Story Monday April 10, 2017

It sounded like he's trying to convince someone. Either he's not so confident or he's not sure if Pandora isn't crazy enough to assume she would win. Yeah ... and Edward warned he doesn't expect Immortal to play fair. Also note the powerful as I am, you'd still find some way to make me regret being manipulative. Heka isn't afraid of what can Pandora do when playing fair, but about what she can do indirectly.
  20. More Speculation.

After the main story is over? Which main story, Lord Tedd one? There are obviously more stories "in play", and we can't be completely sure what will be part of "current" story and what is being prepared for the next one. It is possible Magus will be somehow connected to the magic reset story, OR he will be the story after that, OR he will be solved BEFORE the magic reset story finale. Sure, the story arc name "Sister 3" combined with what the previous "Sister" stories were about suggests Magus will be involved, but that may be misdirection. In fact, this story arc already has more parts than any else (previous record was Bringing Silly Back) and doesn't seem to actually involve any sisters except Diane and Susan and those only lightly, so we might overestimated how important the title would be. There is speculation he knew them from before their reset. Yeah ... she might realize she made mistake. But then what? Reward him for how much problems he caused? ... Wait. Actually that may work. With how she presented herself to Magus, she can totally give him more help out of fear he will became worse problem AND claim to him she's rewarding him for what he did. Rewarding bad behaviour is generally bad idea, but Magus seem to realize he shouldn't be doing this and praise from Pandora will likely make him regret it even more.
  21. NP Monday April 10, 2017

To be fair, most of parents are SUPPOSED to be kept in dark about their kids abilities and knowledge ... and with growing percentage of plot containing magic and/or aliens, they really can contribute little to the story ... The reason Dunkels appears more often than say Susan's mom is because they are in the know about lot of stuff - partly because Edward wasn't able to think of anything better when solving Ellen problem and partly possibly because they already knew something and that's the reason why they calmly accept everything.
  22. Story Friday April 7, 2017

I wonder if we might be confusing cause and effect with Susan and her attitude towards men. Les Immortels had to teach Susan how to summon the hammers even when there wasn't an offensive remark being made, with proxies such as Miller's blatant sexism. Perhaps being exposed to all that sexist material, and having to be able to take offense enough to summon hammers, at the proverbial drop of a hat, caused her to become more cynical and hostile towards men. She was already somewhat prejudiced against men because of her mother's attitude, and being taught how to put her feminist outrage in a hair trigger only made things worse. She only needed to be able to summon hammers against the vampire, who's existence was sexist enough. And I don't think Miller's sexism is so bad it would turn innocent child into radical feminist in few hours. Meanwhile, her mother's attitude is something which influenced her for years. So, I would assume Susan's straw feminism was actually her mother's - which is why it disappeared so fast ; when she started paying attention to what men actually do (instead of what her mother told her they do), she realized it's not so bad. (Despite lot of people, like the author of Sinfest, thinking it IS so bad. Well, at least in EGS it isn't.) Despite the first stanza offering the clarity of Alice's stories, second suggest he simply disappeared.
  23. Story Monday April 10, 2017

I would say "is" in general sense, not necessary in present. I mean, personally I assume there are more seers in present, but I don't count what Heka said as confirmation. Not really. Those two in pissing content were likely both fairies. Also, existence of other immortals doesn't mean some gods weren't actually fairy - it just suggest not all were. Not so sure about this either. From what Heka said, I would actually suspect that while generally his class of immortal is more powerful than fairies, he is not entirely convinced he would win without the help of fairy law limiting Pandora's options. Not necessary, but we don't have it confirmed yet. The question what "fey" means in EGS is still completely open - it may even not been used as proper term. Well, in most cases, mythology offers more options than games so assuming something from game is from mythology usually works. For example, while mythology offers "small" elves similar to fairies, that's actually later development and previous Norse elves resembled Tolkien ones. There is also Lilith, although she was punished for her preferred sex position and this punishment apparently included not being mentioned in Bible. (Yes, I know I'm simplifying.) Actually, she possibly was goddess before being human. But that doesn't matter: Pandora's name was inspired by Pandora's box, implying Pandora herself doesn't know (or care) about origin of Pandora myth. (In fact, the mistranslation of pithos to box is from 16th century, which suggests Pandora is younger than expected.) Punish men AFTER Prometheus brought them fire, which raises question what exactly were men doing before that ... and how many of them were.
  24. Story Monday April 10, 2017

Even with that rephrase, I'd still say the same thing, there's nothing here that says Pandora would be satisfied with just knowing the first purpose and that other ability, just that she's satisfied that Heka is being honest with her. Yes. The rephrase just shows I'm not in that big disagreement with you now. The second purpose will CERTAINLY be revealed later than the first one. I think Dan wants to keep Tedd eligible even more than Heka. It's speculation but partially confirmed by Heka's wording that being morally good is NOT needed for second purpose BUT it's needed for second purpose being used in way Heka agrees with. Morally bad person CAN be eligible AND Heka will do what he can to make him NOT eligible. Lord Tedd migh've been eligible AND used his second purpose AND the result made him Lord Tedd. Although I suspect that the problem wasn't him not being morally good but him not being sound mind.
  25. More Speculation.

There is also possibility that helping Magus has some much more important reason than just having fun (although Magus must never realize it) so some risk is worth it. That would also explain why in her tantrum she still didn't killed him - I find unlikely she wouldn't be able to. But even then, she must be assuming very good chance of recovering Elliot. So, Pandora will help Magus and Magus will be like "why didn't you do it before"? Nah. This is hard to predict, because Pandora MIGHT just forgot about Magus, assuming he wouldn't do anything until she will have time to play with him again ... OR she can be still manipulating him and Voltaire is only one who she didn't predicted. Or anything between. I would definitely assume that if Magus appears, she will manipulate him somehow. Which may result in helping him getting Elliot's body, possible with Ellen's knowledge but not Magus knowledge. And IF Magus will get Elliot's body, she would DEFINITELY make sure he will get to the diamond.
