So, anyone from the old forum might remember me complaining every now and then about Dad not paying child support. Mom just found out through his facebook that he's published a book, Ceres 2525. Guess who hasn't seen an increase in child support since it was put on the shelves? Mom's in a good mood, though. Because we get to call some lawyers. ...where's the smiling devil emoticon when you need it?

Undertale's "SAVE The World" is pretty awesome for the last phase of the True Final Boss... ...but I've pictured a scene for it in my head that makes it even more awesome. Basically, this is the very end of the True Pacifist route, right? So Frisk has gone through the entire Underground dodging attacks from literally every single monster he's come across, yeah? He should be pretty good at dodging right now, huh? Imagine him fighting seven opponents using ranged attacks from all directions, and avoiding every single attack flawlessly.

Got to play Smash at my friend's house. Gotta say, likin' the changes to Charizard and Zero Suit Samus. Kept forgetting that Charizard's side-B isn't Rock Smash anymore, though.

Speaking of M&Ms, they're coming out with a new flavor. Well, they have three, but there's a VOTE promotion going on, so I think only one of them will be a permanent addition. The new flavors are Honey Nut M&Ms, Coffee M&Ms, and Chili M&Ms. I think the first one sounds like the winner, huh? *nom* Mmm. Honey flavor.

Just finished listening to the Undertale soundtrack. Somebody put the entire soundtrack in one 2-hour video. It's nuts. Out of all those, we can add ASGORE, Hopes and Dreams, and Last Goodbye (the second credits theme) to my list of favorites.

The URL autocompletes the most commonly visited webpage that starts with whatever letter you hit. Hitting 'c' has consistently autocompleted to the old forum { .../forum/103-el-goonish-shive-wwwegscomicscom/ } for literally almost four years, and since the Crash it continued to do so. Finally. FINALLY it shows the new forum { .../forum/9-egs-comics-area/ } as the top result! Only took a couple months. The off-topic one { .../forum/19-off-topic-discussion/ } is probably not too far behind, though I wanna see how long that takes rather than just erase 103-whatever from the browser history.

Am I the only one bothered by the fact that they're wearing the same dress?

Heavy rain just started up. Heard a thunderclap. Not what we wanted right now. [EDIT]: Or...not... Looks like it was a quick burst that died down into some more normal rain. Still concerned, though.

This is supposed to be about weather so I won't tell you about the room. Still, yesterday I was on my way back from Walgreens (convenience stores within walking distance ftw!) and it was drizzling a little. The cloud responsible was already gone when I noticed, but still. Then I saw a dark-ish cloud covering the northwestern part of the sky and got nervous, staring at it for a while trying to gauge what direction it's going. We only had ankle-deep flooding, tops. I didn't want worse. Well, I say "storage" mostly because the half not filled with tools looks like it's filled to the brim with junk and boxes. And the half that is filled with tools is such a mess too. Good advice on the books, though.

Well we managed to be in a part of town that isn't underwater. Yay. Still, Houston is officially a disaster area. So that's fun.

[ELEVEN HOURS AGO] Biiig storm. Floods and tornado warnings. High flooding. The water is like a half-inch from the door. I can't tell the difference between the yard and the road. The rain's died down, but we're keeping the weather app on standby. There's part of our house that's a few inches lower. I'd think it used to be a garage if there was a garage door, but there isn't. We use it as a workshop/tool box/storage room. It has two exterior doors: the one that's level with the rest of the house, which we use all the time, and the one in the back corner, which we never use and is blocked off by more crap. Guess which door sprung a leak and flooded the room. We're definitely calling the landlord in the morning. [And back to the present] So apparently the storm cell will continue until tomorrow. I have a feeling contractora are gonna make a looooot of money this week.

More Undertale music. Right now it's the Ruins music. Sounds kinda like it uses the Pokemon Black/White soundfont at times.

Still have to take it easy for a few weeks, and there's some staples that need to stay there for a week, but yeah. Short surgery and a lot of boredom. It honestly hasn't sunk in that my life was ever in danger. Sure, I was worried a little at one point or another, but for the most part I stayed relaxed, kept myself awake until operating time--it'd be easier for them to put me to sleep if I was already tired--and tried not to laugh when they shaved my stomach hair (seriously, that tickled). I think the worst pain I felt during all this might've been the removing of the medical tape. When a trip to the ER for appendicitis can be summed up as boring...

What, no Uranus or Neptune? I seem to be getting Undertale songs stuck in my head lately. First "Megalovania", which I posted about already. Then "Your Best Nightmare" and "Finale" together. Now it's "Death By Glamour". And, of course, I'm gonna try and transcribe them on MuseScore, just because.

Felt pukey yesterday and had soreness/pain in the general bladder/appendix area, so I thought I should take a look at that. Yep. Appendicitis. Inflamed but not yet burst. So... Seven-thirty this morning, I was wheeled into the operating room, put on the bench, closed my eyes... Woke up at eight-thirty this morning in recovery. Got home at two-ten. Modern medicine is awesome.
