Perhaps we should reconsider the Jeremy edition?

Since Susan had the big emotional reveal, there is no need to remake the movie around her.  So, yes. Let's cast Jeremy in Jimmy Stewart's role.

I don't recall a billiards scene, but a stunt feline should suffice.

The only know Jeremy like creature we know of is Max, and I don't think he plays pool either.
