But without a programing computer, what does she plan to do with them? Do they have contacts with the Uryuom population on this side?

House cats are generally aware of their size, not willing to challenge much larger opponents. Jeremy is . . . interesting. Apparently picking up on intent as well.

Apparently not, but she does recognize Jeremy as a colleague, called him "Protector."

Most cats understand that a much larger opponent can wipe the floor with them, and will only fight such an opponent out of desperation.
