Ah, Nanase remembers how this works.  I like the approach, letting Hope know that this group of mortals, at least, does not hold her responsible for Pandora's bad behavior may go a long way towards her healing.  But would they consider Voltaire responsible for Ragnarok's crimes? I would, the difference being Volty's lack of remorse. Now pass the Magic pizza.

I can't say with certainty that Pandora did, or did did not do that. . . .

BUT Pandora knew How to do it, and knew the results were both random AND temporary. . . .

OK, she probably did it.  But I can't tell you when was the most recent incident or who was involved.

Making an illusion that looks like regular food seems straightforward.  But if Pandora didn't eat actual food, how would she get the flavour and texture right?

I’m thinking that she can eat and taste regular food, but it gives her no nourishment because she doesn’t actually need things like carbs and protein.

This is what the comic is saying, but if you think about it, it is a contradiction with past events. Pandora was biological enough to mate with a human and give birth. This says 'biologic origin' somewhere in their past.

But wait, no, it's all by magic! No, it isn't. There is a system, a pattern to these hybrid births, "All wizards have an immortal in their ancestry." (likely misquoting) The point is, Dan(a) has a background for them that is somewhat biological.
