That is true, there were many things that Felix was wishing for, being female, being a catgirl, being Kitty's catgirl.
  2. Old Characters Returning

I want to see early Diane and how she formed the group with Lucy and Rhoda.
  3. Story: Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017

Sam might have a very similar reaction as Felix did, in the "this is a dream come true!" sense
  4. I Have A Bad Feeling About This

I could never remember if it was Revenge of the Fifth or Revenge of the Sixth, I feel Sixth would work better since it's Sith with an x in the middle.
  5. If you're talking about the secret ID forms, then yes, Mild Mannered would be, Heidi is the stereotypical party girl who'll go both ways, and Goth...not sure, but the attraction for males would be as tacked on as it was for Ellen, Elliot doesn't have that with the custom morphs. She enjoys it more with Tedd and Grace now, which is fine for the OT3.

It's the nostalgia, it had been 15 year since the original Jets were relocated to Phoenix, when the company bought the Thrashers in 2011, they had 3 names in mind, the Moose (based off of a Triple A team they own), the Whiteout, and the Falcons. They ended up dropping the Falcons as a possibility due to Atlanta having a football team of that name and it might have been seen as an insult. But it Winnipeg residents pushed hard enough to have them make it the Jets. As for the Expos, it's been 13 years so far so there's no doubt that the name still rings loudly to many people. Yes Winnipeg is in Manitoba which is a prairie province, Montreal is on the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, and the area of Southwestern Ontario and the upper St. Lawrence is considered the most densely populated region of Canada. Better comparison: Montreal as of 2016: City Population: 1,704,694; Area: 166.60 square miles; Density: 12,075/sq mile Winnipeg as of 2016: City Population: 705,244; Area: 179.18 square miles; Density: 3700/sq mile Winnipeg has an NHL team (the Jets) and a CFL team (Blue Bombers) and a couple minor league professional teams for Hockey and Baseball, whereas Montreal has an NHL team (Canadiens), CFL Team (Allouettes) A professional Soccer team (Impact) and has hosted the Canadian Grand Prix for F1 racing as well as some NASCAR events. And I just noticed, Montreal is also making a bid for an NBA expansion team. The other kid's shirt changed as well, the sleeves are the same colour as the torso (collar is still black though).

That's a bit harsh. I will make a correction though, I forgot that Winnipeg got the Jets back by buying the Atlanta Thrashers and renaming them, so it's unlikely Montreal would get the Expos back that way, but still after 13 years, people in Montreal miss having the Expos and however they end up getting a new team there, there's a good possibility that they'll be named Expos. Also it'd be nice if Canada had more than one MLB team again.
  8. NP Wednesday May 03, 2017

Hey, it's possible Montreal could get the Expos back as an expansion team, just like Winnipeg got the Jets back.
  9. Oh yeah, forgot about that one, but I'm certain that was the only other time. He did contemplate switching to it before meeting back with Ashley and the others after talking with the griffins, but decided it might cause him to say something that would hit too close to home with the topic of vampires.

Nah, that wasn't the case with the Toronto Blue Jays the past 2 years, both years I hardly watched any of their regular season games and they did great, made it to the ALDS and ALCS. During the post season, I gave half their games my full attention, guess which half they won. Mind you this year I haven't watch a single game and the Jays seem to be struggling so maybe it's trying to tell me something?
  11. It was clear, by the fact that Elliot actually says so, that he loves the Cheerleadra form. It should also be clear now that after his date with Ashley, he really loves the custom morphing ability. Elliot and Ashley can have fun with it, whereas Elliot and Sarah talked about the possibility, but it didn't really work in practice. Of course at the time of the birthday party, they didn't know that Elliot had awakened and only had the ability to morph into girl forms, Sarah probably assumed they'd just use the TFG again. Elliot's secret identity forms for Cheerleadra come with a set of pros and cons mostly having to do with the mind altering effects they have, Mild Mannered is shy, quiet, great for flying under the radar, but is awkwardly attracted to males which Elliot is obviously uncomfortable with. Goth is hot, but Elliot doesn't like the idea of being angsty, interesting we haven't seen him use that one since the first time he took a look at her. Heidi's the wild card, literally, Elliot feels more like Ellen, though maybe too impulsive compared to Ellen and then there's the fact that he kissed Sarah's sister, it might also be an unhealthy way of getting his mind off of things, though there certainly are worse ways of getting over breaking up with a girl. He doesn't outright say that he loves the secret identity forms, but the fact that he thought about them after Tedd mentioned the possibility of magic changing suggests that he'd miss having them as well or else he should have been thinking about Cheerleadra, Mall Girl and Blonde Ellen instead.

    Thank you David Willis.

Just like every sports game I watch, the team I want to win, loses.
  14. http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php?id=610 And we have a Duck (not the demonic kind) which explains everything, Nanase's demonstrated her magic to him so of course he'd also be curious about any of her's and Justin's friends. Maybe he overheard her telling Justin about how she plays with change blindness and was more sneaky than his friend and caught some of it.

It's like a "Need" vs "Want" thing, in Tedd's case, there are times when he needs to be one gender or the other, it's something that's been part of him long before the TFG and I wonder if it's linked to him looking androgynous as well. In Elliot's case being a female in a relatively new experience, and initially he wasn't too keen on it, but it's grown on him almost like an addiction, he's had lots of fun with the forms despite the awkwardness they've caused and he'd miss them if magic changed. Morphing for bed has also become a routine and we know how well Elliot likes to adjust his routine. Tedds glasses has X-ray, zoom, infra-red, night vision, and video recording. I imagine Elliot could easily get video recording as part of merging with his cellphone though, and zoom too actually.
  17. http://www.egscomics.com/?id=2342 Of the 2-3 times Elliot's read his spellbook, Ellen's read hers 5 times. Ok maybe Ellen's read hers more than that, but she's probably nowhere near Nanase when it comes to studying it. And I still think Nanase reads hers maybe every day, she just doesn't always read over old spells to see if they've gained any new features. And so any guesses one what Elliot just got? New girly spell? Or finally got a manly spell?
  18. Things You Find Amusing

Today's TWB: I recognize Krosp from Girl Genius, isn't he a bit short and more of an actual cat than anthro compared to TWB characters? The other two I assume are from other comics, but they don't ring any bells.
  19. I was confused by this, choose it though to see what Dan does, but would we be looking from Ellen's perspective at someone she just FV5'd or looking at Ellen from the perspective of the victim? For the former, at best we'd see Ellen's arm with her hand glowing a bit from having fired the beam, but we really wouldn't see Ellen. And Dan would have to choose who the victim would be which kinda defeats the purpose of voting for this pinup. The latter would be tough to do too, because yeah we'd see Ellen but she might not be in a pinuppy pose. Also, we wouldn't really see what the victim looks like. At best we'd get something similar to the Librarian Amanda pinup.

That's what I've been saying too, Elliot originally had to transform out of necessity and it was inconvenient, but the past couple week's (in comic time) he's started to actually have fun with it and enjoy all the possibilities, he's not ready to give it up so soon. It is worth noting that Elliot is behaving much like Tedd did early on, coming up with excuses to use female transformations. Will Elliot bake Ellen's 1st birthday cake while in a female form? I'm thinking Elliot's now acquired the ability to see as if he was wearing Tedd's glasses. And yes that includes X-Ray vision. The way Elliot says it, it sounds like it might be a separate spell, but it would still fit with the "I want to be Superman" theme so it could be new ability for Cheerleadra in the same way that Nanase's fairy avatar can get new abilities.

Interesting alternate advertisement of a garden tool.
  22. Story: Monday May 1, 2017

That 'implication' got sort of boldfaced, underlined and chiseled into rock when he came within fractions of a second of murdering Ellen. Abraham did believe it was his duty to destroy anything created by the diamond, but his reaction to Ellen suggests that he'd never encountered the curse being a simple transformation like gender change, colour change (skin, hair and/or eyes) or size change. Mind you, it is possible that someone like a thief or murderer used a disguise spell to steal the diamond or kill the at the time owner of the diamond and caused a duplicate to be make, in which case Abraham wouldn't have any issue. Ellen could have just been the first that made Abraham question the nature of the curse.
  23. Story: Monday May 1, 2017

I can see Dan taking inspiration from Star Trek 2-3 for this plan, in how Spock planted his katra into McCoy, McCoy started behaving a lot like Spock until they could get Spock's body back and return his katra to it, Elliot would be playing the role of McCoy and Magus would be Spock, the Diamond would serve as both the means of getting Spock's body plus the Vulcan high priest that acted as the conduit for the katra to travel. Also curse would refer to anything that's not natural to the person, any enchantment is considered a curse to the diamond, Magus would also be considered not natural to Elliot and thus need to be separated.
  24. EGS Strip Slaying

HA! I said that Elliot's morphing in the pinup might have been payback for Ellen making things awkward for him. This is that plan backfiring.
  25. Story: Monday May 1, 2017

If Magus succeeds in getting Ellen to zap him into Elliot, it wouldn't kill Elliot's personality and memories (that's what I'm leaning towards due to me not believing that Dan would make this plan potentially fatal to Elliot), Magus and Elliot would be sharing one body and the Diamond would see Magus as a curse and separate him from Elliot.
