Really? I haven't noticed. It doesn't seem all that funny to me. what does being funny have to do with anything? If there would be family history of vampire hunting, the parent in question probably wouldn't be so surprised daughters are already in job. Alternately, said parent(s) being hunter(s) could be the reason they were up for adoption in the first place. Seems like a rather High-Mortality-Rate occupation. Either keeping them away to keep them safe, or one dying when they were too young to remember and the other not being able to do it alone. -

a couple people have said he's a 2nd generation seyunolu, so maybe the limitation only applies to first generation cases? -

I would assume not, considering that's a pretty common motivator for the 'adopted kid who doesn't know' scenario in fiction. -

Which is something I do, and I've seen other people do, to calm down when in a stressful situation. She just lost a shot at would have been a good story, i think that counts as stressful. and the interview idea could just be her desperate attempt to salvage the situation.

wouldn't that make the girls seyunolus? every seyunolu we've seen has had an afinity for shape-shifting, and ONLY shape-shifting. I'm not sure they even can get abilities not related to that. hammer thing and magic weapon thing would contradict that, wouldn't they? -
A quick and dirty stopgap fix, would be to go through the boards code and replace all instances of white text with light gray. The bits that are on black & dark blue backgrounds would still be clearly visible, but the ones on light/white backgrounds would just be faint instead of completely invisible. Cause the edit screen isn't the only place this site missuses white text. Go to someone's profile and hit [CTRL] [A], you'll see words appear outa nowhere for an example most people probably missed. It's not perfect but it's better than what we have.
