Next year's Pennsic is Pennsic 50, or as they use Roman numbers for Pennsic "L". There is considerable debate as to if It's going to stay "L" or they go to "50". Some people have, semi seriously, suggested that the hill that they mow to the number of the war be mowed with "Fifty". Not "50" but literally "F I F T Y". This being the SCA I expect people to argue about it until spring, then settle down with "L" because it's traditional, and the SCA lives on Tradition. Or at least some kingdoms do (Looking at you East and Middle).

Oh freaking great. They changed the 9:45 stop time for the current thunderstorm to 11:00. Radar shows a major rain band coming in from the west. Seems like I'm going to have body aches for the rest of the day.

It's not the butt warmer as such that makes her get in the way. It's that the desk is rather small. And she wants to hang out with me in the morning.

All of those sound like a good cause for sleep. Unless there is something important to do, why don't you lay down and take a nap? Unless there is a medical reason why you shouldn't do so, napping can be good.

The Skill Tree YouTube channel just released a video about the last Pennsic. It's a bit long but worth watching. Their experience matches up with mine

I was able to get over my rotator cuff issues with just PT, but mine wasn't totally torn and didn't have any bone spur to deal with. Hope you get some relief there soon.

Tedd has seem to taken to heart Arthur's statement that the lesser of 2 evils is still evil, but sometimes it's what you have to do. Show serious signs of personal growth is a way that I would not have expected.

Rich has not taken to heart that women don't always play "mind games" as much as Larry has. Larry has shown a lot of personal growth since the card game from hell, but Rich is still a major pain.

Yeah, I suspect that a thump with a stun hammer would at least attract Elliot's attention, if not Evi/Cheer/leadra's attention.

I got up at 7:00 this morning and took my morning meds. I don't remember if I took my headache drugs then or not. I'm assuming I did so I've got about an hour and a half before I can take another dose. I'm hoping that this headache doesn't get any worse before then.

I wish I could blame my sleeping to much on anemia, but I suspect it's just being bored in the afternoon, mixed with some depressive disorder. Going to mention it to my shrink next time I talk to her.
