Looks like Explorer the Weather-cat was wrong. We have a 90% chance of thunderstorm with in the hour. I think I hear far off thunder right now.

Yeap. Granted she had cause to do so, but yeah Princess Celestia banished Princess Luna to the moon for a 1000 years. Was the plot of the 1st two shows in getting Luna back from being Nightmare Moon.

Agree. Could be dangerous spell to use without knowing. Casting any spell with out knowing that you are doing so seems dangerous, never mind a mind altering spell like hers.

This points out more and more that Diane doesn't know she has a spell or spell like power and needs to be given some help in using it by Tedd. Hopefully soon.

Now down to a 30% chance of a thunderstorm around dawn, so I suspect I'm going to miss out on yet another early summer storm tomorrow. Explorer the Cat is acting like it's clear weather, so I suspect that is the case.

Which does bring up the option of Tedd finding out about Diane's spell somehow, "looking" at it and giving her pointers on how to use it.

We have a 60% chance of a thunderstorm around dawn tomorrow. EtC isn't acting clingy yet so the front must be a bit far right now. Radar doesn't show anything to the west or south of us and we normally get weather from the west or south. There is a bunch of stuff to the SE of here, but It doesn't normally come from that direction. More, maybe, as it gets closer in time.

I think that, given Diane’s use of it in the lunchroom, the spell affects all who hear her voice when it is in use. I suspect it's everyone that hears the spell, even if the caster doesn't know that they can hear the spell. I wonder how and when Diane is going to learn that she has a spell?

After lunch today I went to look for Explorer the Cat and couldn't find her in any of her normal places. Then I checked the undies box, which used to be her place to hang out in, but she quit using it. Lo and behold, she was taking a nap.

Well, the EG movies and shows do have polychromatic humans, which does tend to make things a bit odd. Of course MLP:FiM itself tends towards polychormatic ponies...

TWC, now Spectrum, is predatory, overhyped, has lousy customer service, and pathetically redundant programming. That said, their services for the most part work. Actually of all the Cox services, their phone line were the least likely to fail.

While I suspect that the the Cox Phones are in fact VOIP phones, they are analog phones as far as the end user goes. You plug them into the phone jack on the router and they just work. More or less. As well as anything Cox works anyway.

The thing is, in the scene where the human football player freaks out about the dog talking, the dog talking is the least weird thing going on. Which Spike the Dragon/Dog comments on.

Well, if you want to get technical about it, the line in question was carried by Cox cable, not the real phone company. It's still a wired phone line, not a mobile phone.

Well Spike is a baby dragon, so he's too small to eat a pony. As to why they turn into humans, it's because that side of the mirror is a human world, so the ponies become humans. Most of the cast of the EG movies are native humans anyway. Most dogs aren't purple as well. He just does. Of course the fact that the dog talks is noticed as being weird by the humans that aren't changed ponies.

There is a whole other set of short movies spun off of MLP:FiM proper called "Equestria Girls" where the whole cast is more or less human. Other than Spike the Dragon, he's a talking dog...

Many people forget that phones are voice capable it seems. My rental agent tried several times to send me a text, to my sister in laws land line. Took a while to get them with the right number.
