I just made grits in my rice cooker. I need to do that more often. Don't have think about it and they come out close to perfect. Add a little butter and sugar and I'm good for a while.

In the modern day, knowing where some one has hidden a large amount of funds, assuming it's not cash, is not they same as having access to the funds. Knowing the bank that some one has used to keep the money in doesn't give you access to the money, so Mangus may not be as well funded as Ellen thinks. This assumes, of course, that the money isn't cash or something like some gold bars.

We are having a loud thunderstorm. Susan, my cat, is acting very odd.

It's 85 degrees F, feels like 90 and has a 50% chance of rain today and an 80% chance tomorrow. Storm fronts are a known trigger for migraines for me, which might explain why I have been fighting a medium to mild headache for the last 3 days. Not bad enough to take /strong/ drugs for, but bad enough that I need to keep track of when I took what so I don't take too much of any one analgesic.

The question left on the table right now is where is Kevin? Was he affected by the sleep spell? Or did he hid away in Ashley / Mittens clothing?

Given how Mr. d10 acted to Larry when he was being a jerk to Sarah during the card game arc, I strongly suspect that Tensaided never did any thing to Susan, or any other woman that would result in hammers.

Susan, my cat, just came out of the bed room at about warp 7, slid across the hardwood floor of the living room, then stopped in the middle of the kitchen. Then she walked back into the living room and went to her food bowl, like nothing was wrong. Cat is weird.

Just an thought. We have not seen Magus cast any spells in combat. He dodged Elliot's attacks and then grabbed his hand. His actions so far vs the golum is to do acrobatic combat actions. It may be possible that in a spell on spell battle he isn't as good as he thinks he is. His dependence on physical attacks may be part of why he has his whole "male forms are better combat mages" thing going on.

Also he didn't so much lose against the Griffin as avoided combat with Dame Tara.
