There should be a basic intelligence check for using the internet, particularly posting rights on social media. -
Sounds better than my Swiss cheese and smoked ham on an everything bagel I had yesterday. I'm now out of bagels, so I'm not sure what I'm having for lunch. I suspect I'll make cheesy rice.

The sword in the stone wasn't Excalibur, at least in most written version of the Arthurian stories. And it was the one the made Arthur king. So, the whole strange women thing is wrong from the jump. Malory doesn't name the sword in the stone and Excalibur is later given to Arthur after he was king. And if you are talking King Arthur, Malory is you go to source.

Well, it's used to start fires, it's a semiconductor and it's used in making sulfuric acid. The semiconductor option is the most likely thing that could make it valuable. Or it could be the mineral that you need for FTL drives. While not pyrite, Traveller jump drives use Lanthanum, which in the real world is mainly used to make cigarette lighters "flints"

"Yeah, I'm back off the bed. I told you about 3. Glad you made it last time I got off it. Well, not really glad, but you know what I mean" - Explorer the Cat.

And now you have a government run teaching "institution". Politics could get nasty. But I expect The Dan to avoid that sort of thing, because it's not funny most of the time.

Ah. Hope they get them all and you get some relief. -
I agree. I don't think that Kevin had any thing to do with Jay. It might have had to do with her mother, but I'm wary of that at that as Arthur said it was for training agents. Unless Jay's mother is an agent I'm not seeing Kevin as being for Arthur's family use.

Here is. Several key take aways from today's strip. 1) We see what Kevin will say to an awakened magic user. 2) Sarah gets some strength training, which should help her become awakened. 3) Tedd needs to study how Kevin blocks ambient magic which could be important in their research into magic resistance.

I suspect she was rather referring to the movie, which has a major wizard duel in it. Plus changing to various animal forms. She did say it was one of her favorite movies.

I don't think so. She has forelocks all the time, but her antennae come from the center of her hair line, and don't seem to be in view either today or yesterday.
-
That seems to be the case, based on what Arthur said about him when he was talked about. Training a wizard takes more then just building up strength, even if that is an important part of the training.

Yeah, I'd like that as well. But you're right, right now a right wing party with out a Trump wing is doomed to fail. I don't often wish that some one would die of natural causes, but sirrah Trump is pushing an exception. -

The RNC is making it hard to be a legitimate strong national defense conservative. Enough so that most Neo-cons have said that they aren't part of the Republican party any more. -
Nope. Just talking. I assumed that Arthur was trying for a magic AI driven system. Then the AI "woke up" when the magic overload happened.

I've done a little Googling and it seems that the view that tea is a problem for some one with kidney disease is mixed. I'm going to keep to my 2 cup of "real" tea per day until I get told one way or the other about 4-6 cups a day. My primary care person did tell me to increase fluid intake, which means I'm doing a lot more decaf tea than I was. They are supposed to get me a consult with a kidney specialist some time this week. Problem with that is there isn't one in town and I really don't have transport other than friends. Deal with that if and when it comes up.
