As of today, Kennedy Space Center can be upgrade from a class D downport to a Class C downport. Now someone get on the stick about gravity control so Terra can be fully TL 9.

Most of the flooding in this batch has been the Caney river, which is the first river north of the Tulsa Metro flood control projects. It's also in mainly farm and cattle country, so there's not a tax base, or when you really get down to it, a reason to, build a major flood control system. Almost all of the houses are well above the "normal" flooding zone and cattle have high ground to move to in the case of floods. The people of Tulsa look at the Caney as an object lesson as to why we have an award winning flood control system.

Flooding here is peaking and most rivers and creeks should be below flood stage by Tuesday morning. Wind threat lowered to gusts up to 35 mph. Then, later in the week thunderstorms come back. Ah, the rainy season in the southern plains. We don't always get it, but when we do, well like the old salt commercial said "When it rains, it pours".

CompuServe office, some time in 1989. Find the people that added animation to the Gif89a file format and talk them the [redacted] out of using it. For the love of all things lawful good, people of the Internet stop using them. If you have to animate some things, make a for real video file and use HTML5, with autoplay turned the [redacted] off. Growl, snarl, snap, grumble, etc.

I agree. While I have migraine, they don't last, in general, more than a day and a half, plus I have a series of drugs I can take that 90% of the time will reduce the pain to a level I can deal with. -
Important safety note: Oven bacon in a metal thing cooks faster than bacon in a glass thing. The bacon in the metal thing, after 16 minutes is just about to crispy, pushing burnt. Glass bacon, just right on the chewy scale.

For Reasons I'm freaking starving right now. So I'm doing "baked" bacon. A whole pound of it. Took two things to fit it all. I expect the normal effect of too much grease come dawn or so.

This getting old. I am going to take an Ativan and see if that will let me sleep. Even my most dry dead tree sleep aids are not working. So an Ativan and the 1984 Jane's Infantry Weapons. If that doesn't work not sure what to do. Even the Q didn't have any effect.

Due to being in a manic state I haven't stopped reading Bikini Armor Battle Damage. Because I never go on the Internet with out an ad blocker and I don't have much contact with the computer gaming world I am gobsmacked by some of the "armor" being used. After a short review of my 3d models, I have about 10 that I can use. That should be enough, as a normal party is 4 - 7 players. I think I will do what both Wizards and he Pathfinder people have done and make "iconic" characters.

One of the women in my last gaming group spotted new posters at the game shop every time. She also noticed when other members change dice. Of course this was a once a week game, so that might have been part of it.

Well I have had my first thunderstorm, but radar shows more coming. Not that much rain as yet. And against all odds, no power flickering. And Cox "we spam our customers we both email and dead tree mail" Cable hasn't failed yet

76° and 100% chance of rain tonight. And 80% chance Saturday, 60% Sunday. Depending on who I read Tulsa metro is due between 2 through 6 inches of rain. "Locally higher amounts up to 10 inches" Flash flood warning until Sunday night. I would say my cup of joy overflows but I suspect it will float away instead.

Grits made with Cream of Mushroom with garlic soup. I think I will stick to steel cut oatmeal as the thickness agent. Grits were, well gritty.

On the off hand chance you don't know, "Blessed are the cheesemakers" is quote from Monty Python's Life of Brian. And for that matter cheese makers would inherit the whey, not the curds. But you are a cheese snob, so I know you knew that. ;-)

I've been reading "Bikini Armor Battle Damage". I've looked over the stock art I bought for the 2 tries ago version of my current project. Oh boy. Need to get/make different art of humans/humanoid characters. I am NOT going to be part of the GamerBros if I can help it. Well, that adds another layer of stuff I will need to work on, but at least writers block isn't really a problem with doing character designs. I'll live with the "3d renders can be uncanny valley" issues. I think if I use the "cartoon" render engine of Daz Studio it might help. Need to do some tests on that. Or get serious about Blender and Make Human.

All my really effective non narcotic headache meds have caffeine in them. This makes them work a lot better. So I am going to be up sooner than I wanted and be wired at dawn, which means an late morning crash. This is really less than optimal.
