We never saw Wolf casting any spell, but he IS one of the most powerful wizards in the mid-western United States according to Raven, who is likely to know. And while I agree that Agent Cranium is likely that person strong-armed into top-secret government work, that doesn't make her Sarah's relative. It is plausible that Noriko's sister is of a similar potential level to her, if she had trained as early and as hard as Noriko had. She clearly hasn't been training much in a long time (possibly since Noriko left or even before), but I would not be surprised if she has a few spells up her sleeve. Suuuure ... she don't know what Edward is doing at FBI or that Nanase has magic and she definitely doesn't train her magic since Noriko left. She may be doing lot of training without Nanase's knowledge, possibly even working for DGB. Or she may not, obviously. But I wouldn't try to guess how good she may be compared to other mages. I'm just sure she has SOME magic.

I get the impression that Jerry does not have any abilities which would allow him greater insight than he has already exhibited. At least not quickly or without making his presence known. I'm sure he could magically break into the school, birth, and adoption records that Edward has already seen or eventually could see. Attempt a dream scape interrogation of Diane's adoptive parents or Mrs Pompoms. Or collet DNA samples from Susan and Diane without their consent and go down to the paternity lab. So unless he has a previously unknown "Analyze Ancestry" spell, no questions are being answered any faster than if Susan made the inquiry herself. While technically still breaking and entering, going in some buildings through wall wouldn't make his presence known because invisible and intangible due to different plane. I think this option present opportunities to get answers faster than Susan and Diane. Dreamscape interrogation might be more risky, yes. And comparing DNA samples is bad idea, that WOULD be risking someone finding him and it also wouldn't really show difference between clones and twins, also it would make more sense for Susan and Diane to do it.

Possible, if she does know, she's resisting the temptation to gush about how cool it is much better than Diane did. That would be very impressive for an 8 year old to do and somehow, I find it hard to believe that Mama Kitsune would have told Akiko about anything and forbid her from telling Nanase. So you think Mrs. Kitsune is not using Akiko to spy on Nanase's progress with magic? Akiko might not get full explanation yet, but she definitely knows something is being hidden from her. On the other hand, she's 8: she's USED to stuff being hidden from her. I'm definitely not one of those people. First, the rules for magic were done in time when teens were considered adults. Second, if giving magic to teens would be reason to reset, they would be reset before they explained hammers to Susan, not speaking about navigating them to the vampire. ... it seems likely she was bribed. Probably got lot of candy. On the other hand, if the world ends and is reborn, we might get something better in its place. A world where the political divide is not so vast and deep. A world where all our needs (though not necessarily wants) are provided for. A world where things are settled with diplomacy rather than violence. A world where, dare I say it, Gargoyles actually had a REAL third season! Not in case Cthulhu does the world ending. Well, except the first one. Remember that Mrs. Kitsune KNOWS Nanase has magic. Nanase might not be so stealthy as she thinks ... No, Wolf was the powerful wizard. Cranium might not be that impressive. Still, Noriko is powerhouse. Her sister is likely to have lot of own magic. Especially considering Heredity and magic was always straightforward in Noriko's family ... I'd tend to agree, It wasn't that long ago that the Kitsunes had Ellen and Nanase babysitting Akikio... Hmmm ... (looking if it already happened) ... it was few months, yes ...

I actually like that it does that, the other day I had typed up a lengthy response and got distracted before I hit "Post" about half an hour later I go to turn off my computer, closed firefox and thought "wait, didn't I have a post I was working on?" I reopened firefox to the forums, saw that I did not hit the post button, clicked the field and everything popped back in, I didn't have to retype everything. You can enjoy not risking the content on all textareas.

Actually, the thought just occurred to me, that while there is something he thinks is important about Diane and Susan, he might have just pulled a Pandora as went "If I believe letting this run it's course isn't breaking my vow, then I'm not breaking my vow". Panel 5 looks like Jerry was expecting his old self to shout at him that "I VOWED!", but that didn't happen. I though this is obvious. He overdramatizes his decision to help himself actually believe it. This would be the best course of action, if Jerry has enough composure and skill to stay calm and keep the conversation calm. If he doesn't have enough stuff, and it seems like he would doubt that he has enough, it would be better to let events take their course for now, but keep an eye on things. Jerry has big advantage that Susan is not aware he is listening. If he would visibly be there, it would be sort of confirmation, which might be bad. If he would pretend he wasn't aware of that, he can still admit he wasn't that sure later. I still think he should use his immortal abilities to verify the truth.

So, the "something" would be "bisexuality". Yes, that fits. (Also, I would say that she tried to NOT tell him but get answer anyway.)

Her dream in which she slept with Archie likely happened between those moments which would explain the sudden shift in Ellen's view of the party, before she was fine with everyone swapping genders, then suddenly she wished only the guys would become girls. Yup. Yup. That wasn't really relevant to Sarah being turned into a guy, but more the fact that Sarah's freakout hit quite close to home with Ellen's reason for existing. Yup. I was just saying that if she had any more reaction to Nanase as man, it might've been shadowed by her reaction to this event, and later to her reaction to the revealing outfit. Wait. What is Ellen talking about here? I mean, it's likely related to Nanase and their relationship, but what exactly is that "something"?

Him saying "for the same reasons Ellen and Nanase did" suggest he KNEW the same reasons, not just the magic affinity. On the other hand, yes he might've found both while looking for Susan (remember that he would KNOW Diane is the one with dark hair, so any initial confusion wouldn't be likely to last long) and based on them looking same and having same affinity he stayed around long enough to find when they were born, possibly hearing Susan talking about her birthday and Diane being forbidden going where she originally wanted to go ... therefore reaching the same conclusion based on same data sooner than Ellen and Nanase. Or he was following Nanase and found out when Nanase found out. Both are possible.

Hmmmm ... true, she was eager to see the party before it happened but was nervous on the party itself ... but note that Ellen already knew Nanase is lesbian and might've already though about using the party as opportunity to get her out of closet. Her first reaction on Nanase is hard to decipher ... and she got annoyed at Sarah afterwards ...

I kinda think Jerry could sense an extradimensional immigrant, since Immortals seem to travel freely between dimensions. Do they? Voltaire likely only PRETENDED to travel from the other half of the Earth, and even if he really did, it may still be skill not all immortals have and/or not easy. He vowed to Susan, but for something immortals did to BOTH of them, so it makes sense he would also follow Nanase. Also, yes, Susan didn't seem in any danger from watching movies. It's possible he checked Susan, then checked Nanase and noticed not Tengu. You mean events that would arise if that wouldn't caused them to prevent themselves in first place? (aka "of course it's utterly terrified and for good reason") Yup. 1) Predictions ; 2) Parallel dimensions resembling Earth in past / future ; 3) Pranks done by immortals. Unlikely. Stuff like this might look like good humour, but it wouldn't be fun to do unless you also consider accounting funny. Too much things can go wrong. Doing something like this would only be justifiable for disasters on level of magic reset, where it's worth it ... although, the way last magic reset was described, there were no editing related to that.

I meant as in the bisexuality and the pheromones, although the pheromones weren't a permanent effect and I'm not sure if Ellen's beam gives targets those either. Considering Ellen never did have those special pheromones, I think they are missing from both Elliot and Ellen's spells. They also get nerfed heavily anyway. Meanwhile, Ellen's beams making person bisexual is confirmed in canon. Yup. Which would suggest that if it's Nanase, she can imagine being with guy.

"Cute" and "sweet" are not the first words which get on my mind seeing this image. Although they get there later.

Worst case scenario now seems that she might just be unable to use any higher cost spells, at least until she exercises her own magic more with the lower cost spells. First, she obviously exercised a LOT if she already awakened AND got not one but THREE new spells. AT LEAST three. Second, her most energy hungry spell is likely the "shrink with clothes" one. She's unlikely to lose both that and her first "shrink without clothes" spell. (There is also option she will be able to cast all spells but her lower and upper limits for resizing will change.) That is possible. Without the high ambient energy, shrinking Catalina to minimum WITH CLOTHES might deplete her reserves so much she will not be able to make herself taller immediately after. On the other hand, the appearance change likely isn't so costly and there was some time between that and other spells, so she would possibly regenerate the magic anyway.

We haven't seen evidence that Elliot was attracted to males in his standard female morphs, just the secret ID forms, and the goth form seemed more attracted to herself than anyone else but Elliot hasn't used that identity in public yet. While the original morph spell is based on FV5, it's missing key components of it, which Ellen's beams do have, but then Ellen's spell is supposed to mimic the TFG a lot more accurately. That's why I said "might". Remember that Elliot the boy scout might not be attracted visibly ... ... but yes, we have no evidence for that and obviously (as seen on chart) Elliot is not affected by some components of FV5 (although I'm not sure what you mean by "key" components. Some key components are definitely present by default). Elliot obtained the ability to reassume a facsimile of the transformed state. Ellen feels that her attraction to girls is real and her feelings for guys are tacked on. I still think the bisexual homoromantic is description fitting her quite good as far as this descriptions usually fit. Also, she mentioned using "Tedd ex machina" to get children with Nanase ... she might not though it through, but if she did, hard to say which option would she prefer ...

Not likely. Both Elliot and Noah want to retain their ability to buy inexpensive kits that contain almost everything they need to build furniture that is usually of serviceable quality. And one more race through that store will get them banned for life. (Do not underestimate the ability of private security to hold a petty grudge) Not even private security can blame them for something happening out of continuity. While in-continuity Noah might resist being turned into catgirl.

It's true it's not about birth in case of Ellen, but she's definitely related. Also, Jerry not knowing anything opens the possibility of them being result of some magical duplication again. Or from different dimensions.

So does this mean Rhoda's spell branched off? First she changes her size (or the size of anyone else); now she can change her shape (since size change technically is a "change of shape"). Though I realize now that this actually fits with her character, since she completely changed her appearance after she got too much attention after the stunt Pandora pulled. Of course her spell branched off. There's not that many ways how to make resize spells. Also, if she's really S-rank as Pandora said ... (... and some people here were afraid she will lose her spell after the magic clog will be gone ...)

But Sarah would object. Also, what about Ashley? And Susan? If by "can" you mean "is designed to do by default" ... and his female transformations are supposed to be based on FV5 TF gun transformation. He might be bisexual in ALL female forms and not just Heidi where it's obviously part of the form. (Or maybe only Mildred might be "straight" as part of camouflage.) Either that or Elliot's base identity WAS male. But taking Ellen as example, being bisexual doesn't imply being biromantic no matter what's your base line identity.

Jerry is already invisible to the humans. How could he be any more clear? He's also invisible to other immortals, probably. If not, then that's how.

With Grace being able to morph into the other members of the main eight, plus being able to adjust sizes and such, that's still pretty good to make any form imaginable, she could take Sarah's base form, give her Susan's hair but half length, Nanase's eyes and Ellen's boobs, and you would not recognize her as any of the main eight. I have better imagination than that. I think Grace might be able to pull off a better Wookie or Ewok for Wars ... yeah, fur is one thing the others are likely to get wrong. Does Tedd like Star Trek enough to give her such form? (Also, green, for Orions). Exactly: we have no idea. He may be able to do B'Elanna Torres without any problems because she's female. Or even harder stuff, like Rachi Sitra from Star Wars, or the 8472 female impersonating Valerie Archer in normal form.

Actually, I think that if there's someone that Ashley might remind him, is Tedd. I don't think he would like to date Tedd when awake. Although ... wait ... maybe that's not so crazy idea ...

The black bands she had on her upper arm when we first saw her, it doesn't look like she has them anymore which suggests they weren't real tattoos, thought we don't know for sure. That's not bracelet?

The reason why she awakened was basically "everything is against me - not only father and vampires, but even the hammers". So there is connection to father. I think that even without the serenity spell, the other changes - like dark sclera (the "white" of the eye) and scars on face - would be temporary. ... what henna? I would definitely like answer to the question if the TF gun scanner works on genetic level.

Why illegitimate? Personally, I think she looks same except hair and skin color (which does look similar to Grace, yes ...) Yup. Hijinks confirmed. This is first even which resulted in more hijinks AND might've surprise Pandora. So far, all things which surprised Pandora resulted in LESS hijinks. Nah, she's just a magic-user who's in desperate need of a spellbook. Or at least get the spellbook to look yourself and do some comments we can hear. Elliot didn't really tested limits of his shape change. "Changing in any girl/woman he can imagine" would suggest he can break the size limits as well, but that's OUR description, not in the book. Grace, meanwhile, has the most experience, but she can only mix&match forms she gets from the TF gun. Even with thousands forms, that's much more limited than Elliot's imagination. ... they should really do a contest in who can cosplay better, to show us the limits. Starting with species from Star Trek and Star Wars.

Actually this is something you normally do not want to draw attention to. There is a number of crocodile-related insurance claims every year and if the insurance companies were to see a way to pin them on the Pharaoh they wouldn't hesitate a moment. I didn't though insurance companies are that brave.
