That is not exactly totally 'sad news'. Henry Kissinger was kind of a monster. Attribute to him much unenlightened manipulative foreign policy that did no one any good, harmed many innocents, and ultimately blew up in our face. The Khmer Rouge were a fallout of his destabilization of Cambodia, leading to a decade of terror under Pol Pot for the bulk of the population. Also, to quote an old song, "I wonder who's Kissinger now?"

Comic for Monday, Nov 27, 2023 Confirmation, new girl is Pandora's reboot. Going with the name, Hope. She is able to hide her elf ears. Maybe this silences the noise? Her appearance suggests a girl the age of the main cast. So apparently Immortals are 'born older'.

NP Comic for Tuesday, Nov 28, 2023 . . . also, I think you can do a trade where you fold your own laundry, and reduce your casting costs entirely, but where's the fun in that? Kevin has a speaking role in this comic. Pretty impressive, for a stick.

Basically, I agree with you. Even in-world, she has bread crumbs. She has memories of those Pandora loved, and should have some notion of geographical location.

I imagine her family will help her. 'Tis the season, I suppose. Hmm. He was subjectively older within a similar short time, by a few years. Say 16 to 18 for Hope, 18 to 20 for Zeus.

Does Nanase care? Fox can apparently learn, she learned to fold laundry people weren't wearing. I don't get the impression she would be particularly creative in her assigned chores, though. -

I find the 'basic fox' is more taxing to be odd; adding features makes it less so? I think the reason is Nerfs applied to fox save caster attention. The chart does not really address this, but earlier comics did. -

I hear you, but, honestly, if there were no gas stations open, a lot of folks would strand themselves. It is presented on US government websites. While it is informal, I think it gets some actual notice within disaster relief circles. At the very least, 'source of food' vs 'source of food not available'.

Sketchbook Comic for Thursday, Nov 23, 2023 Magic change dysfunction leads to mayhem with fairy doll spell. This could be canon, nothing seems to contradict what we know so far. I guess we'll see if difficulties with fairy doll spell becomes a thing in the main comic. The being partially disrobed in the process seems especially inconvenient. -
That's kind of a treat; that's the sandwich that is rarely on the menu, and gets brought back occasionally due to demand. Still, a shame you had to work. I drove home around 8:30 last night. Was nice to see almost no one was open; even the big box groceries were closed. Some gas stations were open, and the 24 hr McDonalds where hwy 54 & 55 cross was open, and appeared like they had customers. I would have been curious to see a Waffle House, but didn't drive by one. They never close, to the point were they are a metric for the seriousness of a hurricane or similar disaster. (Google 'Waffle House Index.)

I love Zatarain's rice. I rarely use it, because you have to actually cook it; I tend to get 'nuke for 90 seconds' rice. I have never even seen Zatarain's brand Cajun sausage that I can recall. Is it basically Andouille sausage? I bet they do a good sausage. We do not have decent Cajun food here, for the most part. You can generally find the fixin's if you look for them, though.

I ended up having a more or less traditional Thanksgiving meal with some friends. Turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, and pie.

Probably noteworthy that Nanase's fairy doll spell created a new fairy doll when she cast it many times, other times, she reinhabited an existing fairy doll. They were not unsummoned when the spell expired. Susan's were. -
Comic for Wednesday, Nov 22, 2023 Huzzah! The main comic returns! A crowded nighttime city street; Moperville? Seems too crowded relative to what we've seen in past comics. An elf girl, who appears to be a new character, hears the thoughts of everyone around her. Talk about someone the government would like to get their hands on. They'd have to be clever, she'd hear them coming. I have to wonder why she is in this situation. Why wouldn't she avoid crowds if they annoy her? No tag, because we don't know who she is, yet. I'll edit one in when we learn who she is. - 11/27/2023, Tag added.

This really not even the same spell. This is a transformation, the other was more like the 'Fox' spell. Interesting though, that Nanase's fairy doll took full concentration, with the caster loosing local consciousness, but Susan's behave more like Fox, independent of Susan. So, also two different spells. -
I think she's foreshadowed to continue to be an active character. Pure speculation: She just rebooted, the reboots have been relatively clueless and/or irresponsible. But Zeus aged/kind of matured fast. Pandora/Hope is going to be different, she retained memories, and she will actually feel connected to family. She might want their help assimilating, maybe she seeks them out an more or less joins the main crew? This might need a major handicap to work. This girl reads minds. Pandora read minds in the mall, when she was acting like a survey taker and marking folks. Maybe it is her. The handicap could be the voices in her head are overwhelming.
