NP Comic for Tuesday, Sep 26, 2023 Nanase is least cool when she's looking for approval as cool. My impression is that prior to the magic change, making out with a caster and her double would have been somewhat like a twin fantasy, but knowing it was a double might sour the deal. After the change, both the caster and the double would seem mentally challenged; this does not sound appealing. Ashley is imagining something like the first scenario in her head canon. So, did Nanase use Fox in sessions with Ellen or not? Would it enhance the situation from either point of view? Nanase might think, "Am I not enough for you on my own?" Ellen might think it is a way of Nanase distancing herself. Or it could have just happened off scene, that seems to be the EGS default. It is noteworthy that Ashley imagined Elliot as male. I think every time they've made out in the comic, they've both been female.

Stephan Pastis seems to be increasingly concerned about politics, or at least more openly.

Edward discounting what Tedd had to say then does not give him the right to act like he 'should have been told'. To restate Edward's objection for him, "Tedd, you as an older child, also having issues with expressing yourself which were known to me, failed to format the information that you desired to impart to me in a way that I took seriously. I am now blaming you for my decision to disregard what you were saying at the time."

Comic for Wednesday, Sep 27, 2023 I think the 'Whoops' is because Tedd had not connected the dots at that point, no misdirection intended. He was not yet aware that he was a seer and a wand maker. It seems that Edward should have some sense that is the case, that current understanding does not imply prior understanding.

So, just don't make a VLR (Virtual Lovecraftian Geometry) version. Ahh, no problem, really, the goggles wouldn't work, you only have two eyes. I wonder if Explorer is seeing the Lovecraftian dimensions when she's staring off at 'nothing'?

Oh, my; that is an intriguing question. How many verticies is Elliot, with all his forms? I suspect the components of the polyhedron are only beginning to precipitate out of the environment, and we will have more in the future.

Fun times

It was not that big a deal. I was in a bad situation, needed to leave, had to wait until my next pay check to get a room. It was summer, and I had enough money for a few light meals and travel to work. No where to sleep was an issue.

NP Comic for Tuesday, Sep 19, 2023 Kevin is loosing whatever passes for his mind. Delusions of grandeur clearly labelled. Nice touch. If you cut up Kevin with a table saw, would you have four mini-Kevins, or would they no longer work? Hmm, I think we need to apply the scientific method.

When you say 'fusion band', you're not referring to the percussion devices, are you? That might annoy what's left of the neighbors.

Point of order, Sir. How can you tell if a cat is running around like 'crazy'? It is, after all, a cat, and from a human perspective, a good deal of cat activity appears to be crazy; what distinguishes the running around? Counterpoint, what would it look like if said cat was running around like it was sane? I had a pair of not quite no longer kitten siblings that would on occasion spontaneously chase each other, of course without regard for their affect on the human world around them. I'm sure it all made sense from a cat point of view. I suppose the intersection of our worlds is a thin line that involves much feeding and nuzzling and petting, but for the most part are quite skewed.

I empathize with Edward. As a parental unit, you (hopefully) try to do your best for your kids, but there's always gaps you miss.
