What Are You Ingesting?
Pharaoh RutinTutin replied to ProfessorTomoe's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I know you can preserve mosquitos in amber for millions of years How long will amber keep tea? As I sit here swatting assorted vampyric insectoids, I ask myself "why would anyone want to preserve mosquitos?" -
I pity the fool who thinks T is boring

The last mongoose with whom I dealt was always busy defending the garden against cobras

Can't she just hand out gold for the reaction bonus?

All this effort into refurbishing It seems to me that humanity put even half that much effort into furbishing in the first place, a lot of this refurbishing would not be necessary- 1,908 replies

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-106 In The Author's own words... May we indulge in some plot resolution?

If the entire population of Metropolis can be deceived just by some reporter taking off his glasses, then I suppose a Kingdom could be misdirected by a comb-over

I am confuzed The girl delivering pizza sees some people she recognizes from school, but there may be something different about them? The only thing that would justify the series of exaggerated reactions is if she went there deliberately expecting to see something, and has seen something else that is very much not expected I need Pizza Person's Point of View

So it detects vampyres who enter places that they are not able to enter? Agent Veres, let me help you with your next security upgrade For JUST $1,000.00 per day I can keep gangs of 50 or more banjo playing, unicycle riding, cannibalistic Methodist Bishops from roaming the streets of Moperville* *No guarantee offered against Episcopalian Bishops or if the author actively circumvents the security system

There is a code of ethics observed by pizza delivery professionals the world over that prevents them from gossiping about what they see on delivery UNFORTUNATELY, it is not observed on THIS particular world, and probably not in the Moperverse either

What Are You Ingesting?

Old fashioned rolled oats are a good starting point for granola and oatmeal cookies But yes, why use them for regular oatmeal? If you have the time, the steel cut oats are clearly superior If you are that desperate for speed, you might as well use the instant stuff made of oat fragments and powder -
Perhaps But at least they were all from the same restaurant

Fishing gear? Didn't four out of the original twelve Apostles work as fishermen? And wasn't there a minor prophet who used himself as bait? There is a reason why the names Anglers and Angels are so similar The reason the Priest rolled his eyes is because he knew that you don't bring the tackle box to church for a blessing, those who fish are already blessed

That is very far on the creepy side of the scale Of course, there is only one version of that horror which I have ever found acceptable https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/570/972/ff6.jpg

So with magic being a thing, the Barber of Sue-Ville really might be called on to do anything And not just with hair

As often as EtC is described as "Meatloaf" it makes me wonder if there are cat-shaped loaf pans available A Cat-Loaf (made of domesticated meat, of course) would either be fun or creepy

Or maybe... The party ordered forks and the Pizza Delivery person only just realized that she forgot the forks
-
No These just scream "Bristles" and "Wool" Do you have something in "Silk"?

https://www.egscomics.com/comic/party-155 So no Pizza Delivery Hijinks? Darn emotional growth, maturity, and self understanding getting in the way of our voyeuristic entertainment We need shtick! What are Amanda and Lisa doing?

Consider that Susan has recently lost her horns (to which she seemed ambivalent at best) and her tail (which she actually enjoyed) She does not necessarily want to appear Evil, but she would like to appear distinct, so why not facial hair? I'm thinking a Fu Manchu that is equal to her current hair length

Oh why not? We already have a classic Shaggy Dog tale in NP

Wait until you've been dealing with your current pandemic for 5,000 years Then we'll see how willing you are to take off those flimsy paper masks you think will protect you For protection, you can't beat several dozen layers of Natron infused linen

It's good to see that Tony has matured enough to have a working relationship with Justin

13 May 2016 - Barack Obama hosts a White House State Dinner honoring Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Prime Minister of Denmark, Sauli Niinistö, President of Finland, Sigurður Ingi Jóhannsson, Prime Minister of Iceland, Erna Solberg, Prime Minister of Norway, and Stefan Löfven, Prime Minister of Sweden. Being tone deaf is a disadvantage many people who claim to be musicians choose to ignore
