Still have to take it easy for a few weeks, and there's some staples that need to stay there for a week, but yeah. Short surgery and a lot of boredom. It honestly hasn't sunk in that my life was ever in danger. Sure, I was worried a little at one point or another, but for the most part I stayed relaxed, kept myself awake until operating time--it'd be easier for them to put me to sleep if I was already tired--and tried not to laugh when they shaved my stomach hair (seriously, that tickled). I think the worst pain I felt during all this might've been the removing of the medical tape. When a trip to the ER for appendicitis can be summed up as boring...

What, no Uranus or Neptune? I seem to be getting Undertale songs stuck in my head lately. First "Megalovania", which I posted about already. Then "Your Best Nightmare" and "Finale" together. Now it's "Death By Glamour". And, of course, I'm gonna try and transcribe them on MuseScore, just because.

Felt pukey yesterday and had soreness/pain in the general bladder/appendix area, so I thought I should take a look at that. Yep. Appendicitis. Inflamed but not yet burst. So... Seven-thirty this morning, I was wheeled into the operating room, put on the bench, closed my eyes... Woke up at eight-thirty this morning in recovery. Got home at two-ten. Modern medicine is awesome.

Gut cramps this morning that persisted to the afternoon led to a precautionary hospital visit. Appendicitis. Fun. Caught it before it burst, thankfully. Surgery in the morning. Any advice for what to do afterwards? I'm 26, if that helps. -
Outdoor cats. Coyotes. Neighborhood association isn't doing anything. A worrisome combination.

Having [urine]-poor Wi-Fi in my room. I can't even watch a single YouTube video, even on lowest quality, without it taking two hours and a million refreshes to watch the next five seconds. Websites are horrid and tend towards failing or leaving out features, like pictures or chat windows. And forget about downloading or uploading anything.

Rrrrrrrrr. Two. Two kittens. What a wonderful way to start off April Fools Day: wake up and one of the kittens is stiff and unmoving. Joy. I told them we should've gone to the vet as soon as possible so exactly this wouldn't happen. I'm more annoyed than sad at this point, really.

You wanted kitten pictures. There's only three of them now (see the Sad thread), but there's still kitten pictures. So little...

Two things. One: Out of the five kittens that were born just over three days ago, there are currently only three of them. One of them died of we think breathing problems. The other, we don't know what happened. Two: Spoilers for Undertale's neutral route ending. You beat the final boss, and then have the option to kill him or spare him.

My brother's girlfriend foisted two more kittens on us several months ago. And, of course, we couldn't afford to fix either of them. Cut to this morning, and the girl of the duo is a proud mother of five. So tiny...

I am currently experiencing a temperature of 84°F with enough humidity to feel like a sauna. Meanwhile it's 70°F with a humidity of 85%, much less than a sauna. The latter is the outdoor temperature. The former is inside the house! Yeah, our AC unit isn't working. Like, at all.

So... The sock universe is the Lost and Found? Seems legit. Great. Now we have to wonder if Lord Tedd's/Beta Tedd's/Magus's universes are other faces of this one's die or other dice/coins entirely. As if the multiverse wasn't complicated enough.

Silly CK. It's never a bad time for pie. ...unless you're skydiving. Or on the front lines. Or in the middle of an operation. Or when you're a player in a sporting event, or behind the wheel, or when playing a musical instrument, or during a test, or- *gets pied*

I love the griffons' conversation. So, what I'm taking from this is: Elliot and co.'s world uses the spatial dimensions X, Y, and Z, while Tara's uses U, V, and W. The same universe, just different dimensions. I wonder what that makes of Lord Tedd's and Beta Tedd's universes. And Magus's universe (unless he's from Tara's).
