OK. Here is First person point of view of being FV5'ed by Ellen. Not quite sure what to make of this one. Good shot of Ellen regardless. I'm having trouble with the point of view angle that would make this shot.

Makes sense that Ellen can't affect Grace's clothing with her current spells, but I bet Rhoda could, and Ellen could eventually get spells that let her target clothes or specific items, as it is, she's relying on her beams affecting the whole person.

Shrinking is clear - she's already on limit. And I guess you can't get more blonde than blonde. Not sure why muscles, it could be used as example of how single beam muscles makes person stronger but double beam muscles don't make her more stronger, just looking worse. And heavier? Heavier Nanase isn't even as fat as George ...

http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php?id=630 To be fair, despite Ellen being born by magic, her talent likely isn't as big as Rhoda's AND resizing is Rhoda's affinity. Also, good example why is this not canon: in canon, Ellen will NOT be surprised she has this spell (unless that was her reaction for reading it in spellbook) AND will not complain Rhoda has better especially considering she doesn't know it.

Susan knows about clone forms. This may help prove something to Diane, but for Susan they would ALL need to be there. Hmmm ... can they put clone form on Fox?

http://www.egscomics.com/egsnp.php?id=619 Commentary makes sense, I can see that the reason we haven't seen Ellen use any new spells or something would be because it didn't fit the story, although Dan probably could have had her do something new at Charlotte's while Nanase was showing off the fairy to Diane, but then Dan would probably feel obligated to have Ellen explain it or something in story which would have added another page or two to "So a Date". Also this confirms that Ellen isn't much better at reading her spell book than Elliot, but amusing that she's wrangled Nanase into reading it for her. Their dates must be like story time.

Ellen's reaction in the last panel is priceless, it is canon that she finds the goth form "disturbingly hot". I'd also consider this as Elliot getting payback for the times Ellen's made things awkward for him. So...this could be canon? -
http://www.egscomics.com/?id=2342 Of the 2-3 times Elliot's read his spellbook, Ellen's read hers 5 times. Ok maybe Ellen's read hers more than that, but she's probably nowhere near Nanase when it comes to studying it. And I still think Nanase reads hers maybe every day, she just doesn't always read over old spells to see if they've gained any new features. And so any guesses one what Elliot just got? New girly spell? Or finally got a manly spell?
