So, both Larry and Rich think that Nanase is an experienced role player.  I suspect that subpar sitcom hijinks are about to happen.  George, of course, knows that she isn't and for all we know she could be a natural at it.

No.  I expect a quintuple bogie on the par 3 first hole with a year's worth of mulligans and a 'that's a gimmie' concession when the ball rolls back to the correct time zone.

Kind of ironic that in golf, one of the few places where "par" is formally defined, being subpar is good.

It's possible that the hijinks will in fact be "good", so the golfing version of subpar might be applicable.
